2013 – Sadhana Som

 

Sadhana Som is a young actress/model from California. She plays Young Misol in the short film Echoes and has worked for big name companies including Disney, MGA Entertainment, and Target! 1. How did you get started in the industry?

My mom says she sent in pictures to an agent when we were babies & then me and my 2 brothers were signed on with Jet Set agency.

 

2. What was your favorite part of filming your Target commercial?

This commercial was so much fun to film!! I loved the whole fake beach set with sand & everything. And we we filmed until late at night with beach toys. It was a super fun long day!

 

3. What was your reaction to seeing it on TV?

Exciting, but they made the commercial go really fast so it ended up being really quick. My mom & dad taped it for me 🙂

 

4. Do you have a favorite Little Warrior shoot you’ve done?

I loved them all but I really liked the first one because I got to swing in a old fashioned rope swing which was a lot of fun!!

 

5. What was the experience like working on your first short film, Echoes?

Echoes was filmed at the beach & I love the beach!! I was the only child filming on set & all the actors & director were really nice. I also got to build a sand castle during my scene which was super fun!!

 

6. What was the best part of getting to do a fashion show on Access Hollywood Live?

The best part was finding out that my brother & I got to walk together and wear holiday P.J.’s with glittery slippers. They even let us keep the outfits after which was so nice, I wear mine all the time!!

 

7. How did you react to seeing yourself & your 2 brothers up on a billboard together in Target stores?

I was sooooo surprised how big it was!! We all went together and laughed when we saw it. Then our mom tried to get a photo of us standing under it 🙂 It was a special job & the only time we have all been in an ad together!!

 

8. What was it like walking the runway for the Who’s Little Fashion Show? Were you nervous?

I LOVE doing runway shows!! Who’s Little? was my first one & I had such a great time. I loved getting to be there with a lot of my model friends & walking the runway. I was not nervous, we got to practice before & my favorite song played right as I went onto the runway!!! It was one of my favorite nights & my Grandma even came to see me too!!

 

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with in the industry?

I love when I get to work with my other model friends & meet new ones, everyone is always so nice!! I also like working with all different photographers too.

 

10. Do you have a favorite job that you’ve done?

I have enjoyed them all but probably my favorites so far would be the Target commercial, Fashion Shows & The Target cover shoot for the kids catalog which also had a fake beach set too 😉 I love anything that has to do with the beach & sand 🙂
