Star-Kidz

Paige Ollivier plays the role of Josslyn Jacks on General Hospital. She has also been seen for Tolly Tots, Jakks Pacific, Mattel and much more. To keep up to date make sure to keep checking back at the site.

1.How did you get started in the industry?

My mom took me to a children’s fair when I was 2 and the editor of parenting magazine asked me to be on the cover. From there I got an agent and starting booking jobs. It’s been really fun to work with my friends and see myself on you boxes and on TV.

2.What was your audition for General Hospital like?

It was really fun! I was a little nervous before but my mom and I prayed for God to give me peace and He did. I wasn’t shy and the casting people were really nice. I knew my lines and felt ready to do them.

3.How did you react when you found out you booked the role?

I was driving home with my mom and our agent called and I was really excited! I was so happy to get to be on TV and see myself!

4.What was your first day on set like?

It was great! I went to school first with the set teacher and then we shot my scenes. I got a lollipop after my scenes were done from one of the crew.

5.How do you enjoy working with Laura Wright?

She is so nice and pretty! I like her a lot. She has a little girl that is my age with blonde hair too.

6.What is it like working with Roger Howarth?

He is great! He is funny and makes me laugh.

7.Is there someone in the cast you hope to get to work with?

I would love to work with Brooklyn. She is nice and I like her.

8.What do you do for fun at the studio between filming scenes?

I went to school first and I like school. The scenes were so quick to film there wasn’t much time in between. But I really like to draw and color if I have time.

9.What was it like seeing yourself on TV in your first episode?

I liked it. I liked seeing myself and thought I did a good job with my lines. It’s fun to watch yourself on TV.

10.Have you done any projects outside of General Hospital?

I do a lot of print but my first film was a student film called “The Silence to hear”. I did a pilot last year called “The Doctor” for ABC but it didn’t get picked up. I also have filmed a few episodes of True Blood as Young Sookie.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

Thank you for watching my episode and I hope to be on more in the future.

We’d like to thank Paige for participating in this year’s Holiday Q&A Event!
