Alexa Gerasimovich played the role of Kathy Martin on All My Children. She was also seen in World Trade Center, Bella and Dust. To keep up to date make sure to keep checking back at the site.
1. How did you get started in the industry?
My mom sent pics of me when I was a baby to modeling agencies after reading an article on baby modeling. I had my first modeling job when I was 5 months old.
2. What was it like working with Michael E. Knight?
Working with Michael Knight was really fun. He taught me magic tricks and he nicknamed me “Lexy”. We got to use water guns in a scene and his didn’t work at first – it was very funny!
3. How did you enjoy working with Bobbie Eakes?
Bobbie Eakes was really nice and fun. She taught me how to make a turkey balloon out of a glove. She once sang “Sweet Caroline” to my mom and she has a beautiful voice!
4. Do you still see any of your AMC co-stars?
Rory, Declan, Lucy and I are planning on meeting in NYC very soon for dinner! We can’t wait to see each other again
5. How did you like filming Dust?
Filming Dust was great. It was really nice being asked to do it by the director herself, Lana. Even though it was a short film it was a powerful story. I was proud to be a part of it.
6. How did you like working with Ashley and Erin for Gap?
The GAP job was really cool, to work with my sisters cause that doesn’t happen a lot. I really enjoyed it. The outfits were really cool, I want to buy the outfit I wore for the job!
7. Do you have a favorite print job you have done?
Well one of my favorites was working for Tiffany’s, I got to wear a diamond necklace that cost $40,000! I also liked when I got to swim in a pool for Toys-R-Us.
8. How did you enjoy attending the AMC Fan Weekend Events? What was the best part?
I really enjoyed the AMC weekend fan events. A lot of people who worked on All My Children were there, and I did pretty well bowling! And it was also nice to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?
Even though I really liked everyone I worked with, I became really great friends with Rory and Declan and Lucy (who played Lil A and Emma) we are all still friends to this day! Michael Knight and Sydney Penny were really great to work with too!
10. What has been your favorite project to work on since AMC?
Definitely the GAP, and I had a lot of fun working on the Fruity Pebbles commercial too!
We’d like to thank Alexa for participating in this year’s Holiday Q&A Event!
