2012 – Robbie Tucker

 

Robbie Tucker played the role of Fenmore Baldwin on The Young and the Restless. He has also appeared in such televison shows as The League, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Criminal Minds. He’s done several national commercials and will be seen in Family Weekend which opens next year!

 

1. How did you get started in the industry?

Watching my big sister Jillian! She was in musical theater since she was really little and I remember going to see her perform. Then we moved to California for her acting when I was four years old so I’ve always been around the industry. When i was seven, Jillian’s manager asked me if I wanted to audition for a national commercial, so I tried it and booked it! I had a fun time and wanted to audition again!

 

2. What was your first day on YR like?

My first day on Y&R was a blast! It was a carnival episode so the set was amazing; like a real outside fall carival! And there were tons of people and barn animals! Christian & Tracey who played my parents were great and so was the whole cast and crew. I met Samantha who plays Summer and we had so much fun! We’re good friends still.

 

3. How did you enjoy working with Tracey?

Tracey has boys of her own, so she liked me being there. She was fun to work with and to talk to.

 

4. What was it like working with Christian?

Christian was the best! We got along really well. He was always picking me up and flying me around the room! This past year though I grew so he couldn’t really lift me anymore, but we still goofed around alot!

 

5. How did you like filming scenes with Samantha?

Samantha and I became friends. We always had a fun time while we were in set school and while we were waiting to film!

 

6. What is your favorite part of shooting The League?

Meeting the guys, and having the opportunity to film a scene with Seth Rogen. Also, I knew my set teacher! She was my sister’s set teacher when she was recurring on Weeds!

 

7. Do you have a favorite moment from shooting Prom?

Shooting Prom was the best, but I really liked the scene where I was in the diner with Thomas & Amy. It was a really fun scene and the diner was pretty cool too! I got to drink a milkshake in the scene so they had to keep giving me fresh milkshakes! Working with Thomas was great. He was such a cool big brother and we both liked that we had long hair!

 

8. Is there a favorite commercial that you’ve done?

I loved working on the McDonalds commercial. It was a fun day and we got to work with superhero action figures. Working with the two other actors was fun too. I love voice over work, and probably my favorite was the Burger King animated commercials I recored the summer before last. I did the voice over for 3 of them that that ran all summer.

 

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with in the industry so far?

Ben Stiller! I had a really great scene with Ben, it was part of the big playground scene, but the entire scene was changed so my scene with Ben was cut. I really liked working with Charlie Say on Its Always Sunny in Philadelhia, and Danny Devito. This is such a hard question to answer because I’ve worked with so many great actors! I worked on a film last winter with Kristen Chenoweth, Matthew Modine and Shirley Jones……they were amazing too!

 

10. What’s your favorite YR memory?

My favorite Y&R memory is hard to pick because the 2 1/2 years was all the best. Just coming to set each time was a great memory. But, if I have to pick it would be the first Halloween episode I did when I was dressed as a magician. The set was decorated so cool and we all had so much fun!

 

I have a movie coming out in theaters early April 2013 called Family Weekend. It filmed in Michigan which is where I am from so that was fun! I play the twin brother of actress Joey King, and my parents are Kristen Chenoweth and Matthew Modine. My grandma is Shirley Jones. We have the premiere in March in NYC!
