2012 – Hayden Byerly

 

Hayden Byerly plays the role of Micah on Parenthood. He has also appeared in 11/11/11, Zeek and Luther, as well as several commercials for big name companies.

 

 

1. How did you get started in the industry?

I went to a place called THE Event. There I learned how to act and model and won 10,000 dollars.

 

2. What is it like to be part of the Parenthood cast?

Everyone is super nice and it really helps me grow and learn.

 

3. How do you like working with Max?

He is a really cool kid and is very entertaining on and off set.

 

4. What has been one of the funniest things to happen on set of Parenthood?

The twins on the show always cry when Peter picks them up so in the scene Peter carries her and then their aunt on the show takes them and they stop crying.

 

5. Was there anything scary about filming 11/11/11?

The effects were very cool but a little crazy and it was a low budget movie so they were always running around but it was fun.

 

6. What was it like to play a character like Nathan Vales in 11/11/11?

It was different because he doesn’t talk so much in the movie. I’m a person who can talk all night.

 

7. Do you have a favorite commercial that you’ve done?

I have to say “Natures Way” because it was the first time I had done any stunts so it was fun to finally try flips, twists, and spins.

 

8. What was it like filming Zeke and Luther?

It was cool because it was my first job so it was a cool experience.

 

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with in the industry so far?

People like Peter, Max, Adam, Hutch, Monica, and the crew but everyone is really cool, nice, and friendly.

 

10. What has been your favorite project to work on to date?

My favorite would be motion capture that I did for “Call of Duty Black Ops2”.

 

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I would like to say that you never want to give up on your dreams and to always be true to yourself.
