2012 – Danny Rawley

 

Danny Rawley has appeared in several theatrical and print projects ranging from Animal Planet, Letters to God and Road to Hollywood to print advertisements for Coca Cola, Harley Davidson, the Hilton Hotel and more! Danny is currently busy working on projects such as Dear Danielle, Loose Ends and his Coca Cola advertisement will be appearing worldwide this summer for the fourth year in a row! 1. How did you get started in the industry?

I audition for an independent film to play the younger version of the older boy. When I got the part and I was in front of the camera I realized this is something I really wanted to do.

 

2. What was your first booking, and what do you remember about the shoot?

My first paid job was for Palmeria Country Club. It was fun filming and making some new friends on set.

 

3. What was the experience like filming for Animal Planet?

It was shot in Malibu Beach, California and it was a very cool location far back in the woods. I got to see a really cool snake since it was about a lady who got bit by a snake in both hands.

 

4. How do you prepare for an audition and what is the process like for your age group?

For a tv show or film I try to always coach with my acting coach and dress the part of the character I’m auditioning for.

 

5. What was your first reaction to seeing your huge billboard up for Coca Cola?

I thought it was awesome! And it was crazy that it was actually me up there.

 

6. Do you have a favorite commercial that you have filmed?

Bass Pro Shops was my favorite because I got to ride in a speed Pontoon boat for two days and ride on a raft that the boat pulled too.

 

7. What was the shoot like for your Hilton Hotel shoot?

That was a print job. It was nice spending the day at the beach because I had to do fun things like throw a frisbee and skim board and other cool beach stuff.

 

8. What has been your favorite role to play so far and why?

That would be in the film “Snap” where I played a bully. It was fun being a totally different character than I have ever played before. Although since playing the bully in that role I’ve been asked to play a bully in other films now.

 

9. Do you have a favorite project that you have worked on?

That would be the film “Dear Danielle” where I actually got to play a soccer player, which is my favorite sport to play in real life.

 

10. Is there any advice you’d give to children and teens wanting to get started in the industry?

Have fun, and as long you are enjoying it then you’ll do great.

 

11. What was coolest print job you ever did?

That would be when I was on the game “Speed Stacks Wild Cups” I thought it was pretty cool to see myself on an actually game.
