STAR-KIDZ EXCLUSIVES
Haley Alexis Pullos began portraying “Molly” on General Hospital in July of this year. She has appeared in many episodes over the past few months and has also had guest appearances on quite a few shows in the past couple of years including “Ghost Whisperer”, “Dollhouse”, “Moonlight” and “The Cleaner” to name a few. She has also recently shot two commercials and has a movie that was recently released on DVD.
All questions are answered by Haley herself.
1. What have been some of your favorite scenes that you have
filmed?
Definitely the scene with Steve Burton. That was so much fun. And it’s neat that people are still talking about it!
2. How did you enjoy the General Hospital Luncheon?
It was so cool to meet the people who watch the show, to have them share their opinions. It was neat, too, because people came from so far away. Like one person came all the way from Alaska!
3. How are you enjoying being on General Hospital?
I absolutely love it! The people are so nice and everybody’s so talented — both cast and crew.
4. Did you enjoy going to the Evening with the
Stars event?
I did. I thought it was a very sweet charity. I was lucky enough to be able to be seated with a cancer surviver. Her name is Taylor. We had a really good time together.
5. How do you like working with Aaron and Lexi?
They’re great. Even though they’re part of the younger cast members, they’re really professional and we work well together, helping each other during rehearsals and stuff. And the same time, we laugh a lot! They’re so much fun to hang out with — both on set and off.
6. How do you like working with Nancy and Kelly?
They’re AMAZING! They share all of their experience with me, especially Nancy. She’s a lot like a real mom to me, always offering suggestions, looking out for me. It’s the same with Kelly, too, she’s like a big sister to me. So when people talk about the General Hospital family, I feel like I have a real one with Nancy, Kelly, Lexi, and Aaron.
7. Is there anyone you wish you’d get to work with more?
Dominic or Steve. I’ve only done two scenes with Dominic and he brings a special kind of energy to everything he works on. It’s really cool to watch. And Steve, of course, because…well, he’s Steve!
8. How did you like filming Ghost Whisperer?
Ghost Whisperer was very cool. I got to meet a pretty big celebrity, Jennifer Love Hewitt. She is so sweet. She let me babysit her dog for a little while. Ghost Whisperer is one of the shows that I wish I could do more of.
9. How was the Carnival episodes shoot?
They were a blast! I got to go on one of the rides. It was cool to see how a large scene like that is shot in smaller pieces and brought together as one. It was also very interesting to see how the Kite Flyer was destroyed and how the special effects were set up. I’d have to say it was one of most fun experiences I’ve had on set.
10. Other than General Hospital, what has been your favorite role?
It’s hard to say ’cause I really like them all. I really liked my role in Dollhouse, especially because I got to work with Joss Whedon and Eliza Dushku. But I also liked Ghost Whisperer because of Jennifer Love Hewitt. Then, too, there’s The Cleaner because I got to work with so many big stars, like Benjamin Bratt, Tate Donovan, and Annabeth Gish.
Anything else you would like to add?
The only thing I’d like to add is that I really like Molly Lansing-Davis. She’s smart, funny, sweet, and loving. I think the writers have created a really great character in her that the fans really seem to enjoy. And I think I’m the luckiest kid in the world because I get to play her.
We would like to thank Haley for participating in the Star-Kidz Christmas Q&A event this year!
