Field Cate

Field Cate appeared as Ethan Winthrop Jr in an episode of Passions in 2004. In 2010 he appeared in episodes of The Young and The Restless as Eric.

Career Highlights

At a very young age Field knew he would be an actor. His Great Grandmother was the very first voice of Minnie Mouse and his grandfather was a performer on The Lawrence Welk Show. At the tender age of 3 Field was already performing in musical theater and dance productions. By the time he was 5 the family had relocated to Los Angeles and Field began his career.

Field started off working on commercials for Fox and McDonald’s. His very first theatrical booking was Passions as a backup for child actor Colton Shires. He only aired in one episode of Passions, but he went on from there to book shows such as Without A Trace, Cold Case and Pushing Daisies. He lent his voice to the series of movies Space Buddies and Santa Buddies and in 2010 did multiple episodes of The Young and the Restless as well. When Field was not working he was often spotted attending movie premieres and lending a hand supporting Organizations such as Camp Ronald McDonald and PETA.

Current Updates

In recent years Field has been focusing on his music and performing with his band ‘Fencer’.
