Harper Barash

Harper Barash took over the role of Georgie Spinelli on General Hospital when the show decided to de-age the character and have her play her mother’s on-screen daughter. Already familiar with the cast and crew of GH from going to work with her Mom, it showed in the scenes as she was very happy to see pretty much everyone in her scenes. After filming a few episodes the show stopped writing for Georgie and Kirsten revealed at a fan event that the lack of Georgie scenes was probably because Harper was a toddler and too active to be filming scenes. When the show began writing for the character again they decided to age and recast.
