Aaron and Griffin Kunitz

Aaron and Griffin Kunitz began playing the role of Johnny DiMera on Days of Our Lives in 2009 which was also their first booking. The boys were seen frequently throughout their Days of Our Lives run, and the show had finally found a set of twins to play Johnny that they stuck with. Aaron and Griffin were given multiple storylines to be involved in, and even their own where Johnny was diagnosed with cancer. During a celebration of the show’s 15000th episode, Aaron and Griffin were seen together in a fantasy scene, and were often given lines throughout their scenes on the show. Aaron and Griffin appeared in over a hundred episodes of the soap, but left the role in 2014 when their onscreen family left.

Career Highlights

Shortly after joining the show, the boys worked on multiple national commercials for companies such as Band-Aid and Hershey while Griffin had a recurring role on Cougar Town. Aaron also appeared in the movie Savages.

Post-Days of Our Lives

After Aaron and Griffin left Days of Our Lives, they continued to book roles, and worked on projects individually too now that they were older. Aaron was seen on Dog with A Blog and Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn while Griffin did episodes of Walk the Prank, Fresh Off The Boat, and Sydney to the Max as well as recurred on Dog with a Blog. In 2015, he was in a movie Win, Lose or Love. He also appeared in the pilot for the Amazon series Skyward which unfortunately did not get picked up. The boys also kept busy with commercials for Madden ’18 and Walmart.
