Tate Berney

Tate Berney took over the role of Adam “AJ” Chandler III on All My Children in early 2010 when the show moved production to Los Angeles. He quickly found his character having a lot to deal with emotionally as his on screen father was battling cancer. Tate was featured in many episodes that year and through the next as AJ got a new step mom in his Aunt Marissa (Brittany Allen/Sarah Glendening), was involved in custody disputes, and more. Tate loved working with all of the other kids whenever they got to film together, and attended fan events as well to meet the fans. Unfortunately in 2011 the show was cancelled and Tate made his last appearance in the final episode that September.

Career Highlights

Tate started out in the industry as an infant, following in the footsteps of his three older brothers, with his first bookings including modelling jobs for Ralph Lauren and The Children’s Place as well as an OnFile.com commercial. Tate’s first theatrical booking was an episode of Samantha Who? and he followed that up the following year with Eleventh Hour. He has since been seen on Sons of Anarchy, Young Sheldon, and in the films Just Before I Go, and Insidious: Chapter 3.

Current Updates
Tate remained in the industry well after All My Children ended with a variety of theatrical, commercial projects along with modelling for several brand names. He was last seen in the 2018 film I’ll Be Home for Christmas. Not much else has been made public, but his social media has indicated he focused more in his late teens on high school and sports.
