Star-Kidz

Jonathan Tysor did a 2015 episode of Days of Our Lives. This year he has been seen on The Bachelorette, the film A Doggone Adventure and more!

1. What was the experience like filming for The Bachelorette?
The Bachelorette was one of the most exciting jobs ever! I had just finished watching Arie’s season of The Bachelor and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to go and help Becca out 😉 She didn’t end up with my pick but I’m so excited he is now the next Bachelor. Go Colton!

2. How did you enjoy working on your sketches for Funny or Die?
Funny Or Die was another one of my favorites. I love comedy and improv and I got to work with so many hilarious people on that set.

3. What is your favorite thing about doing comedy?
My favorite thing about doing comedy is that I usually get to improv quite a bit and everyone gets to add on their own funny ideas. Comedy can brighten my day whether I’m watching or performing!

4. What is the best part about making your Doggone movies?
The best thing about the Doggone movies is the friends I’ve made. We have filmed for weeks at a time and over a few years so many feel like family.

5. How did you like returning for A Doggone Adventure?
Returning for a Doggone Adventure was so much fun and a reunion for everybody on set. I had a blast filming.

6. What is your favorite part of working with the dog? What is the hardest part of working with a dog?
The best part about working with a dog is the joy they bring to set and the high energy in scenes (+ adorable snuggles)! The hardest part is getting them to cooperate with us kids, but having a well-trained dog like Jessie makes everything easier and fun.

7. How do you prepare yourself when you have to film very serious scenes?
Working on serious scenes takes a bit more hard work and determination. I spend more time focusing on the scene and imagining what is bringing out these emotions to get a genuine performance.

8. How have you been enjoying working on Killer Therapy?
Killer Therapy is my first horror movie so it’s definitely been a different experience for me. However, everyone on set is extremely talented and kind. I love everyday on set and can’t wait for the release.

9. Can you tell us anything about the film?
Most parts of Killer Therapy are top secret, but I can reveal that I have dark brown hair in the movie and I am playing the young version of the lead who goes to therapy and let’s just say that it didn’t really help… I recently got to see a clip and I can assure you this will surely be a terrifying thriller.

10. What has been your favorite project to work on this year?
While it is hard to pick a favorite, I’d have to go with Killer Therapy (just don’t tell anyone 😉 ).
