2015 – Nicholas and Samantha Amato

 

Nicholas and Samantha Amato are young actors/models from the New York City area. You may have spotted them for Toys R Us, and make sure to keep an eye out for their Herrs commercial! To keep up to date, make sure to keep checking back at our Facebook page.

 

1. How did Nicholas and Samantha get started in the industry?

When Nicholas was about 6 months we submitted him to an agency, and he was signed immediately! Samantha was added to the agencies roster when she turned 6 months!

2. Nicholas, what was your time on set like shooting for The Christmas Tree Shops?

Nicholas said his favorite part of this shoot was “roaring” like a lion on set, he was modeling hooded character towels. He also got to shoot with one of his best friends, Elena, which made it even more fun and more like a play date! It was all giggles on set that day!

3. What is the best part of working for Toys R Us?

Playing with toys on set! Nicholas recently modeled a costume of one of his favorite characters from paw patrol, Marshall, which made him so happy! Samantha never wants to leave the set, and has so much fun we have to bribe her to get her off set when its time to leave. Also, the baby wranglers are so much fun and Nicholas and Samantha love playing with them!

4. What was it like to shoot for Masala Baby?

We absolutely LOVE Masala Baby! We love everything about the brand, from the owner and the staff to the quality of the clothing. We believe in everything this brand stands for. You can tell how much time and love is put into their work! Samantha has shot for them every season since she was about 6 months old and Nicholas had a chance to model for them last season, every time we shoot with them its like visiting family and always a great time!!!!!!

5. Do you have a favorite part of going on go sees?

The kids love going into the city, whether we drive in and go thru the tunnel or we take the path in and they get to ride the train! They always make new friends and 99% of the time run into old friends! For me, I always leave extremely proud of them. Some auditions can be a bit overwhelming for toddlers, and when they do an outstanding job, I am always amazed and extra proud of them, I do not think I could do half of the things they do!!!!

6. What was the best part for Samantha to shoot for Spirit Halloween?

Dressing up. Samantha loves to play dress up, so when she got to model two superhero costumes and wear a cape, she was over the moon! That was a really fun shoot for her!

7. What was her time on set like shooting for Belk?

Samantha had a blast shooting for Belk. This shoot was on location and involved her playing with older kids, outside, which she loved! It was more of a playdate than a job!

8. How did Sammie enjoy shooting for Red Heart Yarns?

This was Samantha’s 2nd time shooting for Red Heart, we love the staff and its a very laid back job. Samantha just has to be herself!

9. What was the experience like for them to film a Herrs commercial together?

Nicholas and Samantha had an amazing time on set for Herrs! The shoot involved potato chips and 10 puppies, is there anything better than that???!! They were both thrilled and we also made some cool new friends!!!!!

10. What has been their favorite projects to work on?

I would def say Herrs, they got to play with and feed puppies potato chips! ToysRus is always a fun job, since it involves playing with toys!

I think Samantha enjoyed shooting Pampers since I was on set with her, that was a fun mother/daughter shoot and Nicholas enjoys every single shoot he books and you can see it in his pictures!!!! He has such a genuine, contagious smile!!!!
