Jessica Taylor is a young model/actress in the New York City area. You may have seen her on Celebrity Ghost Stories or maybe in one of her many shoots for Hanna Andersson! To keep up to date make sure to like her page on Facebook and follow her on Instagram!
1. How did you get started in the industry?
I always loved fashion, makeup, playing dress up and the spotlight. My mom suggested I should try modeling and acting.
2. What was the experience like going on your first go see?
My first go see was really scary. There were all these people standing around looking at me with bright lights and cameras.
3. What is the best part of shooting for Hanna Andersson?
Hanna Andersson is my favorite company to work for. The team is like a family. The best part is hanging out with my friends on set and having dance parties with the crew. They always have fresh baked chocolate chip cookies!
4. Do you have a favorite outfit you’ve modeled for them?
My favorite outfit I ever modeled for Hanna Andersson was the superflowy slipover in Challis dress because I wore it on my 1st catalog cover! My Aunt bought it for me on my birthday.
5. What was it like shooting for Knit Simple Magazine?
Shooting for Knit Simple was fast and fun. It was just 2 hours and was the quickest photoshoot I ever had.
6. How did you enjoy working for Hysteric Galmour?
I loved working for Hysteric Glamour. We had crazy props like giant lollipops, pencils and toy rats. I wore my rats as earrings and went bowling with my friends. They gave us a gift bag and let us keep the props. It was awesome!
7. What was your time on set like filming Celebrity Ghost Stories?
Filming Celebrity Ghost Stories was kind of spooky. It was filmed in an old mansion on a cold, dark night. The episode was so scary my parents only let me watch my scenes.
8. How did you react to seeing yourself on TV?
I was so excited to see myself on TV! I couldn’t believe I was actually watching myself. It was super cool!
9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?
My favorite friends to work with are Chelsea, Gianni, Cameron and Alex, the whole Hanna Andersson crew. I’ve met so many great photographers and love working with Paul Thorburn, Ellen Von Unwerth and Daymion Mardel.
10. What has been your favorite project to work on so far?
My favorite project was when my mother and I worked on a music video together. We were surrounded by friends. The costumes were over the top. We had trampolines, confetti and lots of candy!
We’d like to thank Jessica for participating in our November Q&A series!
