2014 – Aiden Medina

 

Aiden Medina is a young actor/model from the New York City area. Since our Q&A with him last year he has been busy working for Extended Stay America, Merck, appeared in an episode of Blue Bloods and more! 1. What was the experience like filming What Would You Do?

What Would You Do – great being with professional actors and interesting to see how real people reacted to “my TV situation.”

2. How did you react to seeing yourself in the episode?

I was surprised how many people passed me by out in the cold by myself. The cast, crew, and John Quinones were all super friendly and awesome.

3. What was your print shoot for Merck like?

Merck was cool because they put on a lot of make-up so I could look really ill. Acting sad and sick let me use some different skills and emotions.

4. What was the best part of filming your commercial for them?

The Merck commercial let me act with “family members” who were all so sweet. Playing basketball was the best part of the shoot- I love sports.

5. How did you enjoy doing voice over work for Dora and Friends?

The voice over for Dora and Friends was fantastico! Recording lets me be a different character and share so many expressions. Everyone involved in the show was supportive and spectacular. Meeting the voice of Swiper and Backpack was epic.

6. Do you have a favorite part of shooting for Extended Stay America?

Shooting for Extended Stay America was really fun. My actor dad flew me around like an airplane for many, many take- glad he was strong

7. How did you react when you found out you booked an episode of Blue Bloods?

Booking Blue Bloods was the next step in my career. I was so excited to hear the news and hugged my family when I found out. I couldn’t wait to work with actors my parents grew up watching. Wow!

8. What was the experience like filming your episode?

The filming days of Blue Bloods were incredible. Meeting the directors, writers, actors, and crew was fabulous! I love all aspects of being on set. Taking directions, hanging with the crew, sharing stories with the writers and interacting with all the actors – make me feel like I’m at home.

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with this year?

I’ve worked and met so many remarkable people this year. From actors, to directors, to writers and everyone in between. So, I’m very very thankful!

10. What has been your favorite project to work on this year?

TV shows and voice over work have been wonderful experiences. I love learning scripts, becoming different characters and watching myself on TV with my family and friends.
