1. How did you get started in the industry?

Athan: I got started in the industry when my mom entered me in a magazine photo contest and I won. From there I decided I would like to model so my mom signed me with an agency.

 

2. What were your first bookings?

My first two booking were Gap Jack and Kate Spade Kids for Gap/Holiday campaign and Vogue Bambini.

 

3. Athan, how did you enjoy shooting for Vogue Bambini?

Working for Vogue Bambini was great! The clothes were Armani and they were awesome. Working with photographer Stefano Azario was amazing! He is really nice and he makes you laugh and feel comfortable.

 

4. How did you react when you saw yourself on the cover for the first time?

When I saw myself on the cover for the first time I was really surprised and excited for other people to see it.

 

5. Christian, what was the best part of shooting the GAP holiday campaign?

The best part of working on the Gap Campaign was meeting some new friends and the toys they had there to play with. I loved the train set and this really cool toy that one of the wranglers let me play with. I also like Stefano Azzario because he made me laugh.

 

6. How do you prepare for an audition?

Athan: I just act like myself. Stay calm and know if I do my best then that’s the best I can do.

 

7. Athan, what was your favorite part of shooting for Poster Star Child?

The best part about shooting Poster Child style was being in Central Park. There are so many things to see there. There was even a man standing in the water fountain cleaning himself. Amy cannon the photographer was excellent also.

 

8. Christian, if you could work on any project what would it be?

I would like to work on Toys r Us again because they have great toys to play with on set.

 

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?

Athan: My favorite people to work with are …photographer Stefano Azario… photographer Amy Cannon…photographer Nathan Rocky… and David the store specialist from Gap 34th NYC.

 

10. What has been your favorite project to work on so far?

The Gap was my favorite project. the clothes are cool and comfy the photographer Stefano Azario is the best the food they serve rocks and I get to see pictures of myself in the store. Everyone involved with the Gap is awesome.

 

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I am really having fun in this business. I get to meet new friends learn new things and I even got to sign my autograph the other day at Gap 34th in NYC for The Jack and Kate Spade for Kids Gap launch party!
