2014 – Angelina G. Porcelli

 

Angelina G. Porcelli is a young model from New York City. Since our Q&A with her last year she has worked for top designers Mischka Aoki, Pale Cloud, walked the runway in fashion shows at Bergdorf Goodman, petitePARADE and more! 1. What was your shoot for Mon Petit like?

The shoot at Mon Petit was at my favorite place to shoot The Metropolitan building and Cleo Sullivan was the photographer. I knew almost all the other models there so we had fun together when not shooting.

 

2. What was the experience like going to Norway to shoot for Pale Cloud?

Norway was my first International modeling I got. It was a long flight. We were there about 10 days. The first few days I had bad jet lag and did not feel well. It was May and still cold there. I did the Spring Summer 2014 Campaign for Pale Cloud.

 

3. How did you enjoy working for Baby CZ?

I loved working for Baby CZ! It was for AW13. I knew a lot of other models. I love the designer Carolina and her collection, and my good friend Michel Onofrio was the stylist. I love working when my friends are there too. They also loved my naturally curly hair.

 

4. What was your favorite line to walk the runway for at petitePARADE last year?

I did not have a favorite line this time because I loved all of them for different reasons. First I walked Mischka Aoki for Swarovski Elements. She has the most beautiful dresses in the world! Being one of Mischka Aoki’s regular models we have become good friends and I love her and her family. They are very good to me. I loved walking for JCPenney because I got to smile and have fun on the runway. They were very nice and let me keep everything I wore on the runway. Also I was filmed for the tv show “Shark Tank” with hot hair care Products by Megan for JC Penney, they also interviewed me.

I walked 2 outfits for Bonnie Young. I have been one of Bonnie’s regular models for about 3 years. I am very friendly with her and her family. It was the first time I walked in 2 outfits this season and I was also her fit model preparing for the show for about 2 weeks so I spent a lot of time with her and her family. I also brought my friend Kyah in to walk for her as well. It was his first time. His dad is Soccer Star Tim Cahill.

 

5. What was the best part about working for Mischka Aoki?

I love the Mischka Aoki line and I love the designer and her family. I hope to always work for her. Right now I am her main model in America but I now travel abroad to shoot her Collections.

 

6. How did you enjoy getting to travel overseas for the shoot?

I have now traveled overseas 2 times for 2 different designers in 7 months for their Campaigns. I love traveling! I will be working in Europe all this summer and can’t wait.

 

7. What was the experience like taking part in the Bergdorf Goodman Fashion Show?

I love Bergdorf Goodman! They are very nice to me. I was working a trunk show there for Mischka Aoki. A woman bought a dress I was wearing because she liked it on me. There were 2 other models there I knew so we did everything we could to make it a success. And it was! I am doing another one this week for 3 days for Mischka Aoki at Bergdorf’s again.

 

8. What was your day on set for Target like?

I had so much fun on the Target set! The photographer and I had so much fun talking and we ate lunch together too. We talked about Justin Bieber. I am a life long Vegan Vegetarian and they had the best Vegetarian food. I will be in the stores for the Spring Campaign 2014. Look for me!

 

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with this past year?

This year I have met so many new people and made new friends working and taking acting acting classes. I always love working with Stylist Michel Onofrio, the Mischka Aoki team and the designers 2 children. My friend Nicole Karabaich also went overseas to shoot Mischka Aoki and I love working with her.

 

10. What has been your favorite project to work on this past year?

My favorite project has been working all my jobs with Mischka Aoki. She is beautiful inside and out. Also, a new project I am working on that I can’t talk about yet but “stay tuned!”

 

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I always look to improving my craft and giving the best job I can do to the designer. I appreciate all my friendships I have made and all the ones I continue to have. You must be serious about this if you are going to be a model or actress because the designer who hires you has a lot if faith in you that you will make there clothes shine.
