2014 – Hunter Metnick

 

Hunter Metnick is a young actor from New York. He’s been seen for Disney, Nickelodeon, Treasure Hunters, WWE, and just booked a James Patterson project for HBG TV! To keep up to date make sure to like his management’s page on Facebook!

 

1. How did you get started in the industry?

I did a SAG bank commercial for a bank when I was five.

 

2. What was your first booking?

Since the bank commercial was just something my mom took me to, my first booking was a spot on Nickelodeon.

 

3. What was the best part of filming your WWE promo?

The best part of shooting the WWE pay-per view promo was making the ‘mean face’ as a young Seamus, the wrestler.

 

4. How did you enjoy shooting for Treasure Hunters?

Shooting For James Patterson’s, Treasure Hunters was a dream come true-meeting Jim, one of the best authors in the world was great! Playing a pirate with him was fun!

 

5. What was it like working with James Patterson?

Simply amazing!

 

6. How did you react to finding out you booked a Disney Resort commercial?

My sister and I FREAKED out when we learned about booking the Disney shoot!!

 

7. What was the experience like filming it?

Shooting for Disney was absolutely incredible-we got to go into the park just as the sun came up and we were the only ones there! They stopped the rides (later when the park was open) to let us on to film us on the rides.

 

8. How did you enjoy working with your sister?

It made the trip very special because we could do it together and we could share the excitement!

 

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?

Cynthia Perez was the photographer on the Disney shoot-she made it so much fun. James Patterson was an honor to work alongside.

 

10. What was been your favorite project to work on so far?

My favorite project-I have done regional theater in Syracuse (Syracuse Stage) twice now and I just played Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol-I did 42 shows in December-the cast really bonded and it was sad to see it end.
