2014 – Caroline Ognibene

 

Caroline Ognibene is a young actress/model from New Jersey. She’s been seen in a commercial for JDRF, and has done print jobs for companies including FAO Schwarz, Ralph Lauren, and Toys R Us, to name a few. Caroline will be seen in the upcoming film My Dead Boyfriend playing the younger version of Heather Graham’s character and to keep up to date make sure to like her management’s page on Facebook!

1. How did you get started in the industry?

My older sister was involved in some modeling and I thought it looked like fun. We heard that CP Talent was having an open call so I went even though I almost didn’t make it since I was sick. Colette invited me to become a part of her agency. I was so excited to get started on this fun journey!

 

2. What was your first booking?

My first booking was actually my Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation commercial shoot. It was so much fun!

 

3. What is the best part about shooting for Toys R Us?

I love Toys R Us! My absolute favorite part of shooting with them is all of the great people I get to work with there. From the amazing ladies who do my hair and the photographers to the “baby wranglers” who always make me smile. It is always so much fun.

 

4. How did you enjoy filming your spot for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation?

It was so great. The whole thing was filmed on a playground and I got to shoot on the slide, the monkey bars and the spinning wheel. I loved pushing the spin wheel around and jumping on while it was spinning so fast even though it was heavy and hard to push. Everyone was so nice!

 

5. What was it like shooting for FAO Schwarz?

It was fun. I got to see a bunch of the sets they had set up, including the giant stuffed animals. I also made a new friend that day. I wore a beautiful outfit and got to shoot with the Cabbage Patch Dolls which was so cool. Dolls are my absolute favorite toy! I loved seeing my picture in the catalog and got to bring it to school to show all of my friends.

 

6. What was your favorite part of filming My Dead Boyfriend?

That was a long day. Lots of waiting around, hair and wardrobe. But I loved it! My favorite part was when I finally got a chance to be on camera. The older boy and girl actors who were playing my parents were so nice and kept making me laugh while we were waiting. Also, I got to get gummy fruit snacks from craft services while on location which made my day. That was the day I truly realized how much I love modeling and acting.

 

7. How did you enjoy meeting Heather Graham?

She was so nice. As soon as she walked into holding she came right up to me and said hello and said “You must be playing little me?”. My mommy asked to take a picture of me with her and she said yes and also had my Mommy take a picture of us with her phone. I liked her a lot.

 

8. If you could work on any project with your siblings, what would it be?

Me and my sister love gymnastics and my brother likes it too. I hope that one day that we can all do a gymnastics movie like McKenna or a shoot for gymnastics equipment.

 

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?

I have liked everyone I have worked with. Everyone has been so nice. My favorite people though were Jesse and Lana, my “parents” from My Dead Boyfriend. They really spent a lot of time with me and kept making me laugh.

 

10. What was been your favorite project to work on so far?

My favorite projects have been the JDRF shoot on the playground and my Babies R Us shoot where I got to be in the Princess Sofia sleeping bag. I love Princess Sofia so it was so fun.
