Laney Rossell is a young actress/model from New Jersey. Since our last Q&A with her she has done projects for comapnies suchy as Burlington Coat Factory, McCall’s Patterns, and Toys R Us. She will be seen on the pilot episode for the mid-season series Believe and to keep up to date make sure to visit her official website!
1. What was your favorite part of filming her Toys R Us video?
I loved dancing around with the mic!! I also loved the make-up artist Liz!!! She was super sweet and she used a fun air brush tool. It tickled!
2. What was the best part of your Kana shoot?
I got to shoot with my friend Katie! We got to eat munchkins and watch movies when we weren’t getting our pictures taken.
3. Do you have a favorite part of shooting for Toys R Us?
I like playing with the toys.
4. What was the experience like for Laney working on the show Believe?
This was Laney’s first time on film rather than print. She was nervous because there were so many people in the room. The director was all business but he was good with Laney. He made all the extra people leave. The set was a bedroom for a 4 year old and Laney got to play with the toys. She really liked getting ready in a trailer. She got to meet the “real Bo” which was cool and she was super sweet to Laney.
5. Do you have a favorite moment from your Sew Lati shoot?
I liked playing with the other kids! We got to play with the giant balloon. I liked pretending to be a mermaid!
6. How did you react to seeing yourself in the Burlington Coat Factory catalog for the first time?
I was super excited to see me on the cover! I got to show my friends and my teacher!
7. What was your favorite part about shooting for McCall’s Patterns?
I got to dress up as a bride and a fairy!
8. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with this year?
I like when I get to shoot with other kids and play in-between pictures. For Aden and Anais and David’s Bridal there was a lamb. I got to pet it and feed it and I really liked that!
9. What was one of the funniest or coolest things to happen on set for one of your projects this year?
I liked modeling the bracelets for Parents Magazine and getting to pet a lamb.
10. What has Laney’s favorite job been for this year?
Laney really liked playing with the doll house at Toys R Us while shooting for the Big Book.
11. Is there anything else you would like to add?
I have made a lot of friends and I really like when I get to see them in New York. I love getting my make-up done and playing at the parks when I finish jobs or auditions. I also like when I get to see Miss Colette. She even let me do her hair! My mommy and daddy and I really appreciate all her hard work!!! I have a lot of fun!
We’d like to thank Laney and her family for participating in this year’s November Q&A series!
