2012 – Ella Resnick

 

Ella has been on a booking spree in the industry. She’s worked for companies such as FAO Schwarz, Pepperidge Farms, Toys R Us and even walked the Petite Parade/Vogue Bambini fashion show last month! To keep up with Ella and her career make sure to like CP Talent on Facebook!

 

1. How did Ella get started in the industry?

Ella got started in the industry because her dance instructor of 3 years, saw Ella’s personality (aside from the good looks) and approached us last year and asked us if we ever thought of having Ella model. She handed us Colette’s name and number and told us to give her a call. We met with Colette from CP Talent at an open casting, she took Ella on as a client immediately. Went on some castings and the rest is history. As her manager, Colette has been extremely helpful and we can’t thank her enough for the guidance she provides and for keeping her busy.

 

2. What was Ella’s first job? What was it like on set?

Ella’s first job was for The Christmas Tree Shops. She was casted to be in their summer catalog. She was in a big pool along with another little boy and a young woman, posing to be her mommy. Ella had a great time pretending that she was really her mommy and they got along great. Ella actually shot other shoots with her as well. They also had Ella wear a funny fish hat for another shoot that same day.

 

3. How did Ella enjoy seeing herself in big name magazines for her Pepperidge Farms ad?

The funny thing about Pepperidge Farms, was that we had no idea they bought Ella’s shoot out and that it was going national. We were on a family vacation for a week and when we returned, I was at the checkout at the supermarket, when I coincidentally received a text from Colette at CP Talent. It was a picture of Ella in the Everyday with Rachel Ray magazine. After I checked out, I had to go back online and find the magazine that she was in. I brought a copy home and surprised Ella with it. She was in awe and so excited. She brought it into school to show her teachers and all her friends.

 

4. What was the best part of filming her Ooogiloves commercial?

Ella really enjoyed being able to work with her friend Adriana on the Ooogiloves commercial. The kids really had a good time with this one and the fact that they worked together, made it that much more enjoyable for her (them). Ella also loved having to repeat “Sparkleliciousness”

 

5. Does Ella have a favorite shoot she’s done for Toys R Us?

Ella really enjoys working for Toys R Us, she got to know a bunch of the women that work there really well so it’s a fun time every time she goes there. Her favorite shoot was for the Barbie Jam Me guitar that was just released for the Big Book. She loved the funky princess dress and cool sneakers they had her in and she really loves music as well. For her it was a match made in heaven…princesses and music.

 

6. What was the experience like working for Team UmiZoomi?

Since Ella was a fan of Team UmiZoomi to begin with, she thought it was really cool working on a cartoon that she actually watches. She shot 2 scenes and had a really good time on this shoot. Now she just can’t wait to see it on TV.

 

7. Who have been Ella’s favorite people to work with so far?

Ella has been fortunate enough to work with a lot of great people in the industry so far from models/actresses, producers and photographers. She has made a bunch of friends in the industry and she loves the opportunity to work with them all. She also likes working at Toys R Us and the crew over there. She had a really good time shooting with photographer Quentin Bacon for Pepperidge Farms Goldfish bread.

 

8. How did Ella enjoy walking the runway at the Petite Parade Fashion Show?

This was a dream come true for Ella. Anyone that knows Ella, knows how big her personality is and she just loved having to walk for all those people watching her. This was her first big runway experience and she embraced it and really did shine. She loved every minute of walking in 2 shows at her first Petite Parade Kids Week Fashion Show. It was a long, but very rewarding day for her.

 

9. What was it like shooting a commercial for Apple/Disney?

Ella loves the iPad and what kid doesn’t like Disney? For her this was so much fun to combine both. She got to work, coincidentally with another CP Talent client, Cian Scott.

 

10. Does Ella have a favorite job she’s done so far?

Ella’s personality allows her to have fun and enjoy every job she is fortunate enough to get. So she makes each job her favorite at that particular time and puts her all into each one. The Petite Parade was her favorite job, due to the fact that all eyes were on her when she was out there walking the runway. This job was right up her alley.

 

For the last year Ella has been very busy with castings and bookings, but she still has time for dance, gymnastics and swim as well as keeping up with her school work. She is a very outgoing and her personality is what makes her shine and she loves what she does. She loves to see magazines, commercials and publications that either she is in, or friends that she has made. She is looking forward to building off her first year in the industry. Watch out!
