Heaven was born and raised in New York. She is very much a city girl but loves to travel.

The very first Soap she was ever exposed to was All My Children. Her aunt was a huge fan back when Heaven was a little girl and when she’d spend the night, she was forced to watch for the hour and wasn’t allowed to change the channel. At the time Heaven didn’t keep up with the show. On her own, she discovered Days of Our Lives and became an instant fan. She couldn’t watch daily because of school but any chance she could get, she would catch episodes and keep track with the storylines. Same goes for Passions. She’d been watching from the very beginning.

Around 2004, Heaven started watching AMC again and early on in the year, they started the crossover with OLTL which led her to watch that show to keep up with what was happening with the Chandler baby over on that show. She was hooked from there and has not missed an episode. (Thank God for DVR!) It didn’t take long ’til she finally started sitting through and watching General Hospital.

Heaven started up Star Kidz (soapskids at the time) forever ago as a Yahoo Group. At first it was just Days of Our Lives and Passions. Slowly (after the birth of Miranda and Little Adam on AMC), she brought in AMC, OLTL and then GH. But the group didn’t last long and she changed it to a forum and blog in hopes of expanding (including Lost and Big Love) and bringing in people to help her with it all. She wanted a place where she and other Soap fans could talk to each other about the shows. The blog led us to our very first website 5 years ago and to what we currently have today.

When not working on Star Kidz, Heaven enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves to sit back with her family and as a tradition since she was very young, they would watch a spanish soap opera or two together. She also loves going to the movies and during the summers loves to head to the beach or pool to swim.

Susan was born and raised in Arkansas. She began working with the website back in August 2007 when she was only 15 and has been a staff member ever since. Her infatuation with Soaps began at a young age when she would hear the words “Like sands through the hourglass…so are the days of our lives” coming from the living room. She clearly remembers turning to her mom while watching a confusing episode and asking “What IS this show?”

Years after her mother passed away, she heard those familiar words again. The year was now 2004 and her dad was watching the show (he had previously watched in the 80s with one of his sisters). She continued to watch with him and her fascination with the Soap grew.

When not helping with Star Kidz, besides working on other fansites, Susan loves to read, write stories, bowl and spend time on the water. She was even on her high school bowling team. She also loves spending time with her best friends, has recently taken up kickboxing and really enjoyed college and her major of Radio/TV which she hopes will lead her into a career behind the scenes in the entertainment industry. In 2010, she made her first trip to California where at an episode taping of Hot in Cleveland, she saw the legendary Betty White! She is certain it was not her last trip to the area.

For now, Susan works full-time with a news outlet, and stays quite busy with babysitting, church and kickboxing.

Lisa started helping with Star Kidz in the fall of 2008 after she and Heaven had an adventure at the AMC studios for the 10,000th episode taping.

She would like to say that she was raised watching All My Children. Her mom began watching the show the first day it aired in 1970 and Lisa would always watch with her, then eventually started to understand what was going on and it became her favorite show. In middle school, she began watching Passions on and off and somewhere between that and high school, got into OLTL and GH. It just kept spiraling from there. She wishes she had gotten into Guiding Light when it was still on the air.

When not helping with Star Kidz, Lisa can be found working on official websites or demo reels for many young talents in the industry, spending time with her twin nephews, or hanging out with friends. She loves to read when she gets the chance, and works with kids from babies to school age for her day job.
