2016 – Caleb Scott

 

Caleb Scott is the older brother of Matthew and Nathan who played Tate on Days. He has shot for Morning Light Adventure Co, filmed for Fresh Off the Boat, and more! To keep up to date make sure to follow him on Instagram.

 

1. How did you get started in the industry?

Although my younger siblings were in the industry, initially I was not interested in being an actor, or a model. But over time I saw all the fun opportunities my siblings were getting and I felt like I was missing out. So, I asked my mom to get me an agent…and here we are!

2. Do you remember what your first audition was like?

My first audition was for a Famous Footwear print ad. I was wearing new black socks and I did not realize they were going to have me take off my shoes AND socks during the audition. When I took off my socks I had black fuzz stuck to my feet…whoops! They had me try on various pairs of shoes and took pictures of my feet. The shoes were a little big on me, so sadly, I did not book that job.

3. What was your shoot for Morning Light Adventure Co like?

The Morning Light Adventure Company photoshoot was a fun job. We shot outdoors at Riley Wilderness Park. My sister and I worked together that day, which made it an extra special experience. There were actually lots of other kids working that day, so I enjoyed playing with them, too.

4. How do you like doing photoshoots with your siblings?

I love doing photoshoots with my siblings, because they are silly and they make me laugh. But I also like working by myself, that way I don’t have to share the spotlight! When you are one of 4 kids, its nice to be the center of attention once in awhile 🙂

5. How do you pass the time at a shoot when you aren’t in front of the camera?

When I have a long day on set my mom brings my homework, coloring books and some new toys to keep me busy. There are usually other kids on set that I can play with, too. I also love all the food and snacks I get from craft services.

6. What is the best part of auditioning?

The best part about auditioning is getting to spend time alone time with my mom and listen to music together in the car. We usually get a special treat after my audition, so that’s fun too! I also like when I get a chance to make people laugh at my audition…But my least favorite part is LA traffic!

7. If you could work on any project with your siblings what would it be?

Lately I have been watching “Fuller House” with my mom on Netflix. I think that show is hilarious, so I would LOVE to work with my siblings on that show 🙂

8. What was the experience like filming for Fresh Off the Boat?

Working on Fresh Off The Boat was very exciting because that was my first time working on a TV show! I filmed a scene for a Christmas party, so it was funny dressing up for Christmas in October! There were lots of other kids working that day, so I made some new friends. At one point they had all the kids waiting outside and it started to rain a little bit, so the hardest part was trying to stay dry and clean. My pants got a little muddy, but luckily my mom had an extra pair of pants that the wardrobe department approved!

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?

My favorite person to work with is my sister Catelyn because she is funny and she always makes me laugh. She is my best friend.

10. What has been your favorite project to work on and why?

My favorite job was a photoshoot for Banzai Inflatable Water Slides. My sister and I got to spend the day eating pizza and swimming between shots. There were other kids on set too, so it was like a big pool party!
