2016 – Ashley Gerasimovich

 

Ashley Gerasimovich is Alexa’s younger sister. This year she has been seen in the series The Detour and look for season two coming soon! To keep up to date make sure to follow her on Twitter and Instagram.

 

1. What was the experience like attending the Turner Upfronts?

The Upfronts were super funny! I loved seeing the previews of all the new shows coming out on the Turner network.

2. How did you like shooting with Emily Soto?

Emily was super nice and so fun! She’s a very talented photographer. I loved how my photos turned out!

3. What was the casting process like for The Detour?

Casting for The Detour started, for me, in NY with an audition and a callback. Then I flew out to LA to audition for TBS with one other girl from NY and 2 girls from LA. Liam was the only boy there, so we all auditioned with him.

4. How did it feel watching the series premiere of The Detour on TV?

I was so excited to see the series premiere of The Detour on tv, I was bouncing around my living room! My family was super excited for me too! It was so cool to be able to watch it with the rest of the country!

5. How do you enjoy working with Natalie Zea?

Natalie Zea is amazing! I always learn a lot from her. She is so funny and super talented. I’m really lucky she is my tv mom.

6. What is it like filming Jason Jones?

Jason Jones is awesome! Even when we are not filming, he is still the “jokester” of our family! He is an incredible writer and actor.

7. Do you and Liam get to spend time together backstage and/or in school?

Liam and I had school together every day on set with a tutor, so to answer your question, “YES”! We would play jokes on each other sometimes to pass the time.

8. What has been your favorite scene to film so far?

I have so many favorite scenes, it’s hard to decide. But one of my favorite scenes had to be on the beach when I got to kick Chazz’s butt! I had so much fun doing it!

9. Is there anything you can share about season 2?

I can share that season 2 is hilarious and takes place in NY, but you will just have to tune in and watch this February!
