2017 – Olivia Trujillo

Olivia Trujillo filmed multiple episodes of General Hospital. This year she been seen on Little Big Shots and you may recognize her as a judge from season two of The Toy Box!

1. What was your time on set like filming #REALITYHIGH?

I had a blast. Everyone was so much fun and wonderful to be around. Tatiana Lett (young Dani) and I really bonded and spent a lot of time together. Even today I am still friends and in contact with many members of the cast.

2. What was the best part of filming your Walmart commercial?

Working with the remarkable Wonder Woman, totally awesome!

3. How did you enjoy your summer shoot for Target?

Target is always a blast! Who could ever complain about being at the beach and getting paid for it?

4. What was the experience like working on Little Big Shots?

It is a crazy good time. You get to meet so many talented kids from all over the world. The time goes by so fast when you are there.

5. What was it like filming with Steve Harvey?

Steve Harvey is hilarious! I have to say it is live TV, so I was nervous at first. Translating instantaneously is never easy and you have so many dialects in Spanish. None of it was rehearsed or scripted, I get asked that a lot. Some words just do not translate in English, so I was really worried. But then you get on stage and you start laughing because Steve really is that funny and you forget about everything else.

6. How different is it to work on a show like The Toy Box?

The Toy Box is different because you are working with a lot of other kids who have a different perspective on every toy. You are mainly judging adults and their perception of toys they think kids will find fun, outrageous right? But that is what makes it so unique.

7. What is it like filming with Eric Stonestreet?

Eric is like a big kid. I don’t think everyone gets to see how much fun he is on the The Toy Box, but we had a fantastic time. Think of playing with toys all day with your parents. Crazy fun!!!

8. How long did the season take to film?

It went by really fast, we filmed in just under 3 weeks.

9. What is the toughest part of being a judge?

The toughest part of being a judge is you have to tell someone you did not like his or her creation. It’s not personal. You are trying to pick one toy for kids all over the US. It needs to be universal, unique and be the best toy ever. Then as kids we have different interests and that can be challenging when having to make collective choices. I looked for a toy that could be around for an endless amount of time, that was fun for everyone and all ages could play.

10. Do you have a favorite toy you’ve gotten to see on the Toy Box that didn’t make it to the finale?

Yes, but we are still under contract and not allowed to share just yet.
