1. How did you get into the industry?

When I was 4 1/2, people kept telling my mom to put me in acting classes! I wanted to but I wasn’t old enough (for 8-11 yr old) My mom called to ask the teacher, and he said bring her in so I can meet her. He said YES! Thank you Aaron Metchik for believing in me!

2. What was your first booking? What was it like on set?

NYFA – Student (Thesis) Film. I loved it! But it was crazy with all the people, cameras, lights and cords everywhere. But everyone was so nice to me and I got to wear make up.

3. How did you feel learning you booked an episode of General Hospital?

I was so HAPPY! I felt like WOW, I actually did this! This is what I want to do and felt really proud of myself that I got it because I went to classes and worked so hard for it.

4. What was it like working with Brandon Barash?

Brandon is so funny and really nice! But it was funny freaking him out being the ghost of Hope! And when he looked up and saw me again I was giving him a dirty look.

5. How did you enjoy working with Karleigh Larson?

She was so cute and her twin sister too! We all went to lunch together and they held my hands when we were walking.

6. What is your favorite memory from filming General Hospital?

Brandon helped me with my lines because the director changed it a little at the last minute. Then later he was making faces at me trying to make me laugh when I was suppose to be serious, so I made faces back at him! I won, he couldn’t get me to laugh during filming. (but I did after we were done)

7. How do you enjoy attending events like the Kids HELP Children Anti Bullying Benefit?

It was so cool to meet everyone! I was bullied last year in Kindergarten and it hurts! These events help me get stronger and now I stand up to bully’s help other kids when I see them being bullied.

8. What was your favorite part of filming Iceberg?

The beach scenes because we had ice-cream and then I had to put it on my movie mom’s nose and we were putting on each others noses. But it was really cold!

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with in the industry?

Angela the Director of Iceberg and Jinish who worked the camera. It was my 1st film and I learned so much from them. And Brandon because he’s funny!

10. What has been your favorite project to work on so far?

A music video (soon to be released) called “The World Will Follow” by Andi Starr. I played Andi when she was little and got to do an awesome scene with a pretend Elvis & Marilyn. I had so much fun that day! I LOVE Elvis and Marilyn so much and that’s why my mom let me do it. She said it’s perfect for me! I can’t wait to see it now!

We’d like to thank Cheyanna and her family for participating in this year’s Holiday Q&A event!
