2015 – Sloane Morgan Siegel

1. What was your time in the studio like doing voice over work for Eddie of the Realms Eternal?

It was amazing. While I did not work in the booth with all of the voice actors/actresses on the show, I did work one on one with Jason Spisak who was Hobi, the Elf Wizard. Working with such a talented voice actor taught me so much. Also the show is animated by Cartoon Saloon who is in Ireland. We actually Skyped with them during the taping and they were awesome. Both Jason and I confused them a bit with our Irish accents, but it was all in fun. I’m very proud of our work, and hope to hear soon that the pilot will go into a series.

2. What was your time on set like working on Game of Scones?

Since “Game of Scones” is a spoof, it was hard to keep a straight face during filming. The actors were very talented and we all had a blast shooting the show. There were great jokes towards GOTs. The GOTs actors actually enjoyed the show.

3. How did you enjoy attending The Celebrity Stuff-A-Thon event?

I attend it every year and never get tired of giving back to such a wonderful charity. I had fun working with my acting friends as well. We not only were working but enjoying time with each other and catching up on our respective shows. This year some of the kids that get the bags attended the event and the smiles on their faces warmed my heart.

4. What was the best part of attending the Just Jared Fall Fun Day event?

It was awesome celebrating the launch of “Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street” Season 2 with friends and family as well as other invited guests. The carnival atmosphere and food were great.

5. How did you feel when you learned you were featured in Variety Magazine’s Youth Impact Report?

I was ecstatic when I heard the news. While I was humbled by the award, I was also very proud to be featured in such a prestigious magazine with my fellow actors and actresses for our successes in our industry.

6. Do you do anything special to jump into character before going on set for Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street?

Not really. Throughout the two and a half years of the show, Gortimer and I have continued to grow up together. At this time, I am Gortimer is me and I am Gortimer.

7. How do you like working with Drew Justice?

Drew is like the brother I never had. He’s bright, funny, and a blast to work with. His comedic timing is amazing, and he can bring the dramatic scenes to life as well. I believe we will always be great friends, and hope we work together in other projects in the future.

8. What is it like filming with Robyn Lively?

Robyn is an absolute joy and pleasure to work with. She is a kind woman and mother. Our chemistry on screen is phenomenal. It’s an honor to work with such a seasoned and professional actress who brings out the real son in Gortimer and me on the show. She has so much experience and has given me so much input and support on the show. If I didn’t already have the world’s best mother, she would make a good choice.

9. Do you have a favorite scene that’s aired this year for the series?

My absolute favorite episode is “Gortimer vs Gortimer vs Gortimer” (Season 2 Episode 10) and my favorite scene in that episode is the balcony scene where Gortimer pours his heart out to Abigail and confesses his feelings for her.

10. What can you share about the upcoming set of Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street episodes in April?

Gortimer and his pals continue to grow up on Normal Street. Their adventures become more mature and eventful. The writers outdid themselves in Season 3 or 2B which ever we wind up calling it. The stories and costumes become much more elaborate. I also get to do a ton of stunts in the episodes like fencing and fighting, and we will find out once and for all if Gortimer and Abigail become a thing or not.
