2023 – Adyan Copes

Adyan Copes is a New York based young actor and model. He has been seen on Blues Clues and Saturday Night Live, plus done work for companies including Disney+, Cocomelon, and T-Mobile.

1. What was your experience like filming a Kwanzaa segment for Blues Clues?
My experience while filming Kwanzaa was super fun because I filmed it in my dining room and I was able to share my culture, and the clothing that I wear.

2. How did you enjoy working with Blue?
I loved working with Blue because she was so nice and one of my favorite characters.

3. What was your time in the recording studio like working for Disney+?
I love recording with Disney+ because it was my first time working with them and they were super nice.

4. How do you prepare for your voice over jobs?
I prepare for voice over jobs by doing tongue twisters, tongue exercises to loosen up my mouth.

5. What did you enjoy most about working for Cocomelon?
I loved working for Cocomelon because the staff was very nice and I was able to do the voice over of my favorite character Cody.

6. How did you enjoy working on Saturday Night Live?
I loved working on Saturday Night Live because the people were very nice, and I was able to meet some old and new friends.

7. What do you like about doing comedy?
I love comedy because I am a happy person and love making people laugh by the jokes that I tell.

8. If you could do any project with your brothers what would it be?
I would love to work with my brother on a TV show or a feature film.

9. What is one of the funniest things to happen while on set or behind the scenes of a project?
Well one funny thing that happened while on set was on Jefferson Health commercial where we were working in a garden and I ate a pepper. The pepper was so small and pretty and I decided to taste it. I found out it was hot and I screamed. They were running to get me water and I learned that something so small can be dangerously hot.

10. Do you have a recent project you have enjoyed working on the most?
I enjoyed working on the Jefferson Health because it was in a garden and it was so many beautiful flowers, butterflies, and bees.

I will stay positive and keep the faith.
