Ava and Grace Scarola play the role of Avery Corinthos on General Hospital. They have done multiple episodes in 2023 for their ninth year on the show, and their resume also includes The Missing Twin, Mrs. Davis, and 9-1-1: Lone Star.
1. What was the experience like working on The Missing Twin?
G: it was really good. The cast and crew were so kind and patient with me.
A: it was a really fun experience. I really enjoyed it because I loved the cast and crew members. It was really cool to be able to act with my sister.
2. What do you like most about working together? About sharing a role?
G: It’s such a blessing because we take turns and it is really fun.
A: I like working with Grace because I love spending time with her. Sharing the role of Avery is special because we are able to talk to each other about how we want our character to be.
3. Did you do anything special to celebrate your 9th anniversary on General Hospital?
A & G: our parents took us out for ice cream.
4. What has been your favorite part of working with Scarlett Spears?
G: She is so energetic and so fun to be around. Her high energy rubs off on me.
A: The best part is that she is hilarious. She is always thinking of fun stuff for us to do. It’s never a dull moment.
5. What is it like getting to play the big sister vs. being the younger sisters at home?
G: It makes me feel like I have more influence as the older sister. Being the younger sister at home is hard sometimes because I have to listen to my older sister.
A: I feel powerful when I am at GH because at home my older sister bosses us around. 😂
6. How have you enjoyed working with Roger Howarth?
G: He is not only a wonderful actor, but a terrific person and fun to be around.
A: He is great! He is a super kind person.
7. What is the best thing about filming with Eden McCoy?
G: She is very funny and alway kind to us.
A: it’s really fun when we get to work with Eden. She is awesome, beautiful and really fun to be around.
8. Is there anyone in the cast you are hoping to get to work with in 2024?
G: I don’t know … maybe more of the children. I always have fun when they are on set.
A: I would love to work with Tabyana. We don’t often get to work together so that would be fun. I would also love more scenes with Maurice.
9. What would you like to see happen for an Avery related storyline?
G: I would love to work more at GH in 2024. It would be fun to explore the mischievous side of Avery.
A: I want more Avery in 2024. I feel like we can definitely handle a stronger story line.
10. What has been your favorite scene to do on General Hospital this year?
G: I loved the scene when my mom and dad thought I was missing, but I was just at the park. I sure got a scolding for that one! I also loved swimming at the pool. The water was so warm and I just got to swim around which was fun!
A: By far my favorite scene was the Halloween episode. It was so fun being with all the kids and we got tons of candy!
Is there anything else you would like to add?
G: I just feel so grateful for all the fans and am looking forward to many wonderful things in 2024!
A: I’m so thankful for such a great year and looking forward to even more in 2024!
