2023 – Scarlett Spears

Scarlett Spears plays the role of Donna Corinthos on General Hospital. Outside of the soap she has done print and commercial work for companies including Jack’s, Little Tikes and Just Play. She has also appeared in a music video for Pink!

1. How did you get started in acting and modeling?
Scarlett began modeling when she was 18 months old. And she began her acting debut when she got a direct booking for a show on Investigation Discovery.

2. Do you have a favorite print job you have worked on?
Scarlett loves working on Gymboree because she got to work with all her friends, and Lilly Pulitzer because she got to play on the beach.

3. What was the best part getting to work on Pink’s music video alongside her?
The best part was when she gave me a high five, and was super nice to me. Like she’s SUPER SUPER nice

4. Were there any big differences or benefits in working on your Jack’s commercial as the only actor vs. working with a group of people?
I would say it’s fun being kind of alone, and being a STARRRRRR, but I really like working with people too.. I love people!!

5. What was the audition process for General Hospital like?
We did a video audition, then we flew to LA for an in person audition, and it was SO MUCH FUN!!!!

6. How did you prepare for your first day on set?
I didn’t prepare, I just did it :)))

7. What do you like most about working with your on screen sisters Eden, Ava & Grace?
It’s really fun! I get to be with my friends, and play, and have so much fun! We have a good time together!! They’re all very nice to me.

8. What has the experience been like working with Maurice Benard?
It’s great! It’s really great!! He’s very nice, and he’s like my dad, but just my fake dad, but he’s a nice dad!!

9. How have you enjoyed being a part of two soap opera weddings? What is the best part of filming those longer days?
Yes! It was fun! I liked being the flower girl! I’m with all my friends, and we have a great time!!

10. What has been your favorite episode to work on so far?
It’s probably my Dad and Nina’s wedding. We laughed a whole lot, and we got to eat cake!!!

Is there anything else you would like to add?
Hmmm I love being on General Hospital!!
