2023 – Cherish Lewis

Cherish Lewis has appeared in multiple episodes of General Hospital this year including during the Halloween episode. Her resume includes work for Target, and appearances on Abbott Elementary and The Santa Clauses!

1. How did you get started acting?
I remember I saw people acting and I was inspired so I wanted to act and here I am.

2. What is the best part about having one or more of your siblings on set working together?
I get to play games with them and not get bored.

3. How did you enjoy working for Target? What do you like about modeling?
Everything. it feels good I love to pose and do funny pictures.

4. What was your day like on set for General Hospital?
They didn’t have crafty! I still liked it. I was in a Halloween and Christmas scene.

5. How did you transform into an elf for The Santa Clauses? What was your favorite thing about doing the show?
I got fake ears. It hurt to take the ears off. The makeup was very cute and I got so much BLUSH!

6. What do you like most about working on Abbott Elementary?
It’s easy: the SNACKS! But also my favorite teacher is Janine.

7. What is it like to return to set for multiple episodes of the same project compared to other television shoots?
I get to see my friends again and have fun if it’s a fun scene it will be even more FUN!

8. How do you pass the time on set between takes?
Well I play on my tablet and have fun with my friends and have snacks.

9. What is a typical work day like for you on the show?
Eating breakfast then I change into my costume and then wait to go on set.

10. What has been your favorite project to work on so far?
Abbott Elementary. I’m in a lot of scenes, I was in season 1, 2, and currently filming season 3.
