2023 – Vienna Weaver

Vienna Weaver is the older sister of General Hospital’s Viron Weaver. Vienna has worked on a variety of projects in film, television, and voice over.

1. How did you get started acting?
I booked my first audition in a car commercial where I had to pretend to be asleep. My mom took me, and I have been acting ever since.

2. What do you enjoy most about auditioning?
I liked the excitement of getting into character and being comfortable with the lines.

3. What was your time on set like filming for Shameless Hall of Fame?
It was super fun! My mom watched Shameless, so we were both excited to be there. The set itself was huge, and we got our little trailer in between scenes.

4. How did you enjoy getting to work with your family for Fame-ish?
It was different from what I was used to. Usually, when I am acting, I am surrounded by totally new people, but this time, my castmates were my siblings.

5. What was the experience like doing a podcast booking? What big differences were there compared to other jobs you have done?
There were many differences. For one, it was a lot more of a relaxed environment, where people could laugh in the scenes and it was included in the recording. But it was also very professionally done.

6. Do you have any funny stories to share from working on The Eric Andre Show? What is the best part of doing comedy?
It was fun, I dressed up like a cowgirl and sang around and danced. There were also jolly ranchers. I think the best part of it was the light, cheery vibe that the set had to it.

7. What is the most memorable thing that has happened to you on set?
On set for the short film, We Met At Camp, I got a bucket of water poured on me and my fellow castmates. It was for a funny love scene, and it was unexpected because it was thought that only my castmates would be doing it.

8. What is the best advice you’ve ever been given from a fellow actor?
Somebody told me “It’s okay to make mistakes. Mistakes, so often, are the thing that gives a scene its realness. If you make a mistake, don’t panic, talk to people and try it again

9. Who is your favorite person to have worked with so far?
I liked working with the people from We Met At Camp. I clicked with my castmates, and the director, MC, was really big on improv, which I liked.

10. Is there anything you can share about the film you did earlier this year?
I think it was a great experience and furthered my knowledge of acting. The director gave me a lot of lea ways to improv so much of my script and I learned a lot. Filming that short film was super fun, as well as rewarding.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
I love acting. I think that it is an amazing way of self-expression, and the entire industry is fascinating.
