2012 – Tate Berney

 

Tate Berney played the role of AJ on All My Children. This year he’s been seen in a commercial for Subaru, filmed Fight, and done print jobs for Disguise Costumes, Converse, J.C. Penney and more! To keep up to date make sure to visit his Official Website!

 

1. How did you get started in the industry?

I got an agent when I was 3 months old. My first job was a print job for Tommy Hilfiger. We got to go to Big Bear to shoot it. The little girl who was hired wasn’t cooperating so they put the girl clothes on me instead. I don’t really remember …but my mom told me the story.

 

2. What was the best part of filming Fight?

When I got to see the guy fight the zombies. He flew back in the air right before my eyes…it was soo cool!!

 

3. Do you have a favorite costume you’ve shot for Disguise?

For sure it was Thor…because I look like him!

 

4. What was the experience like attending the Free to Breathe Yogathon this year?

It was fun because I never did yoga before…so it was fun to try it. It was also great to see a lot of friends.

 

5. What was your favorite part of shooting for Babiekins Magazine?

The costumes were pretty cool and funky.

 

6. What was it like getting to meet Alexa Havins the last day on set?

I really didn’t get to talk to her much. It was kind of a crazy day when she was there. I got to take a picture with her. She was very nice.

 

7. How did you enjoy working with David Canary?

It was fun to meet him. He was really nice to me!

 

8. What was it like working with Jill Larson?

Its ALWAYS fun working with Jill because she makes everything so special for me. Jill and I still talk! We are really close. She came up to spend the day with me and watched me play in my baseball game and then went out to dinner with me and my mom and dad!

 

9. What has been your favorite print shoot to work on?

I love all the print stuff I do because its fun and easy. But the ones where I get to do action stuff are probably my favorites! Like the GAP when I got to jump on a trampoline for most of the shoot, or ones I get to skateboard in. Those are cool! By far my favorite print job ever was working for Rennie Solis for Converse! He is so awesome! We got to play ALL day long. I got to ride a zip line, do tricks on the trampoline, throw my skateboard over a cliff and I got to jump in the pool with my clothes on!! I also liked working on the Apple print job too because we got to play games all day on that job too…just like they were at a picnic! I love all the print stuff I do because its fun and easy. But the ones where I get to do action stuff are probably my favorites! Like jumping on the trampoline or riding my skateboard!

 

10. Do you have a favorite project that you’ve done this year?

My favorite was “Fight” because I love free running, stunts and zombies…and that is what that show is all about! The make up and stuff was so awesome! I also just filmed a Ace Hardware commercial and that was cool because they buzzed off my hair, and I’ve always wanted a buzz hair cut!

 

I just went to the Martin Family Reunion and I had the BEST time! So fun to see everyone! It was like seeing my family again! I had a lot of fun with Michael Knight, I haven’t seen him in so long! We just laugh together and crack up! I still really miss the show, it was probably one of the funnest times in my life!
