Rory and Declan McTigue

Rory and Declan McTigue first appeared on All My Children as Adam “Lil A” Chandler III in January of 2008 for an episode. They then returned in August of that same year and continued in the role replacing Jarred. During their time on the show they appeared for many family scenes with both the Chandler and Martin families. In the fall of 2008 they filmed the tornado episodes which saw the loss of their on screen mother who died protecting her son. They also saw an increase in material come their way when Lil A’s father JR (Jacob Young) was diagnosed with cancer. Rory and Declan made lots of friends on-set and off, and especially loved working with Lucy Merriam and Alexa Gerasimovich. They were also very happy to meet their fans whenever they saw them outside of the studio or at events. Unfortunately their time in the role came to an end with the show moving production to Los Angeles in January 2010.

Career Highlights
Rory and Declan began working in the industry doing print work for companies including Lord & Taylor and Macy’s. Their first theatrical role was an episode of Law & Order: SVU and they went on to do episodes of Law & Order: Criminal Intent and The Martha Stewart Show.

Current Updates
After their run on All My Children Rory and Declan booked the recurring role of Teddy Schroeder on the HBO series Boardwalk Empire. They appeared regularly throughout the seasons, but saw a decrease of episodes in the fourth season, and then were recast in season five due to a time jump. While they remained in the industry a little longer with an un-aired scene in the film Trainwreck, they ultimately left the business. Not much else is publicly known, but it is noted that Rory has pursued a career in economics and Declan in data.
