Mackenzie Aladjem

Mackenzie Aladjem took over the role of Miranda Montgomery on All My Children when production moved to Los Angeles and decided to bring her character’s family back to the canvas. Mackenzie appeared in multiple episodes of the soap that year, however was also pulling double duty filming Nurse Jackie in New York, which left Miranda off the canvas for a few months at a time. In 2011 Mackenzie received more air time on the soap as things picked up with the storylines dictating more opportunities for family scenes. Mackenzie remained in the role through to the final episode on ABC in September 2011.

All My Children was not Mackenzie’s first time on set for a soap, earlier in her career she played the role of Pamela in an episode of Passions.

Career Highlights
Mackenzie got her start in the industry following in the footsteps of her family which includes her father who is a talent manager and producer. Her first credited role is an episode of CSI: Miami when she was five years old and she appeared in an episode of Passions that same year. Mackenzie was cast in the role of Molly for the national tour of the Broadway production of Annie, which gave her the opportunity to travel across the country performing in various cities. She also spent many years working in New York to film the HBO series Nurse Jackie where she played Fiona Peyton, the daughter of the title character played by Edie Falco. Additionally, Mackenzie has appeared in episodes of Grey’s Anatomy, Criminal Minds, and the film The Lincoln Lawyer as the daughter of Matthew McConaughey. In 2012 she released her original song Boomerang, written with Sideways Eight Productions.

Current Updates
Mackenzie remained in the industry long after All My Children ended its run. She did multiple episodes of Parenthood and The Middle, and appeared in the TV movies Sweet Surrender and Of Two Minds. Her last role was in 2017 with two episodes of Hawaii Five-0. Mackenzie continues to share on social media what she is up to with a focus on travel, and school, having attended The University of Alabama.
