Star-Kidz

Victoria Carey has worked on multiple episodes of The Young and the Restless including this year’s Halloween/fire episodes! To keep up to date make sure to keep checking back here at the site.

1. How did you get started in the industry?

After finding someone we could trust who was already in the business, we took their advice and got headshots done and then sent them in to the agency.

2. What was the experience like working on True Blood?

I met Jurnee Smollett-Bell, who I watched on Full House, she played my TV mom! 🙂 I met lots of friends and we ate a real Thanksgiving dinner, so it was very fun!

3. What was your time on set like working on your Kohl’s commercial?

Well I had to do a lot of work for 8 hours. Doing take after take of the same scene, and the commercial was only 30 seconds. But I made a friend and the commercial was really fun.

4. What was it like filming your holiday episode of YR?

Well I got to do pretend to go shopping for Christmas trees and I made a friend who I also saw this year at the Halloween episodes.

5. How excited were you to find out you booked multiple new episodes on the show this year?

Well at first I was wondering what I was going to do and then my mom told me that I was going to be on a Halloween party episode and so then I was so happy and excited.

6. What was your time on set like filming your scenes?

It was half fun and half serious. I liked filming the dramatic scenes.

7. How did you enjoy working with the other kids?

I made a few friends actually. We had a lot of fun together!

8. Did you get to pick your costume or was it there waiting for you to film in?

It was waiting for me in my dressing room. The wardrobe department has it picked out and waiting for me.

9. What is the best part about seeing yourself on television?

Well I like to see myself, doesn’t everyone? It was fun to see it come all together. It is just a great experience to act and do TV shows, it’s my dream come true.

10. What has been your favorite project to work on?

Well I have 2 favorites 1. Y&R & 2. Conan

They had everything I wanted to have on a TV show I really wanted to play and have fun .So if my dreams can come true so can yours 🙂 ♥

Is there anything else you would like to add?

Auditioning can be hard work but just try your best, don’t give up and then the right roles will come at the right time

We’d like to thank Victoria for participating in this year’s Holiday Q&A Event!
