Emily Alyn Lind

Emily Alyn Lind took over the role of Emma Lavery on All My Children in 2010 after the show moved production to Los Angeles. While she appeared in just a couple of episodes at the start of her run, her air time picked up a few months in Emma became more involved on the canvas again. While she was busy on the show she was also busy with projects outside the soap and in August of the same year left the role to focus on other projects.

All My Children was not Emily’s first time on the set of daytime soap however. In 2010 she filmed an episode of Days of Our Lives as an older Grace, working alongside Danielle Parker who took over the role of Emma on All My Children when she exited the role.

Career Highlights

Emily comes from a family involved in the entertainment industry and began acting at an early age, with her first role being Young Lily in the film The Secret Life of Bees in 2008. She was in the short lived series Eastwick, and had guest starring roles on Criminal Minds, Flashpoint, and Hawaii Five-0. While she was busy with films and television roles, her breakout role came with the ABC series Revenge where she played a Young Amanda Clarke (Emily VanCamp) in flashbacks throughout the series. She starred in the film adaptation of Dear Dumb Diary, and was in Won’t Back Down alongside Viola Davis and Maggie Gyllenhaal. In 2015 she joined the cast of the series Code Black and in 2019 was in the film adaptation of Stephen King’s Doctor Sleep.

Current Updates

Emily continues to be busy in film and television into young adulthood. She starred in the Gossip Girl remake as Audrey Hope, and was in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. She most recently starred in the Prime series We Were Liars and will be seen in the film Speed the Plow.
