O’Neill Monahan

O’Neill Monahan took over the role of Rocco Falconeri on General Hospital in 2017 when the role was recast. O’Neill filmed his first episode on the police station set as Rocco visited his father at work, and appeared in several episodes that year as Rocco navigated suddenly having a sister, and the family scenes that brought as his Mom tried to bond with her. In 2019, he was given a few episodes with heavier material as the show addressed how Rocco has been feeling with his Dad gone, and he last aired that same year.

O’Neill’s first time on a soap was an episode of Days of Our Lives in 2015 as Young Chase.

Career Highlights

O’Neil got started in the industry after telling his family he wanted to be on television at four years old. His first theatrical role was in the 2014 short film Missing You, and he has been seen in the movie Let Us In, along with having guest starring roles on shows including Code Black, Teachers, and The Odd Couple. O’Neil was seen in several skits for Jimmy Kimmel Live! and played the role of Lucas in multiple episodes of ABC’s The Middle.

Career Highlights

O’Neil continued to act after exiting General Hospital, and has been continuing to work in television, film and voice over projects. He was last seen in an episode of the Netflix series Monster and a new skit for Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2025. Outside of acting, O’Neil is in high school and continues to also focus on baseball.
