2021 – Max Matenko

Max Matenko played the role of Leo Falconeri on General Hospital. Recently he has been seen in commercials for American Family Insurance, Chevrolet, and has been busy with a YouTube channel!

1. If you could shoot a job anywhere in the world where would it be?
If I could shoot a job anywhere in the world it would be in Toronto, so I could see my grandparents and cousins.

2. How do you enjoy getting to be a part of your sister’s vlogs?
I have so much fun with Ruby when she puts me in her vlog. We get along really well when we are doing it, and that makes me happy.

3. What is the funniest or grossest thing she has had you talk about/do in them?
The funniest thing she has had me do was when she made me do her makeup. It was also funny when she made me guess what the products she showed me were.

4. How did you get started doing your own YouTube channel?
I had the idea to do Happy Center so I could talk to people and give them advice and make them happy, and then Ruby said maybe we should put it on YouTube and I could have my own channel. She helped me do it.

5. Will there be more videos coming for it in 2022? Can we get a sneak peek at some topics?
I want to do more videos in 2022. The topics would be things like how to handle all the things going on with the pandemic, how to be happy with everything that’s going on. How to train a new puppy. How to perfect your baseball swings.

6. What was the best part about working on your American Family Insurance commercial?
The best part about working on that commercial was running on the field with the other kids. Also meeting everybody and getting to know them and be in baseball uniforms.

7. How did you enjoy working on your Chevrolet commercial?
It was fun working on the Chevrolet commercial, the guy who played my dad was really nice and funny. The people were all very nice and friendly. The director kept asking me to do it different ways and it was fun.

8. What do you like the most about working on commercials?
The thing I like most about working on commercials is that I get to be someone else for a day and I get to meet a lot of fun people.

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?
It’s hard to choose because everyone has been so nice, but I liked the guy who played my dad on the AFI commercial. The guy who played my dad on the Chevrolet commercial was also really nice.

10. Do you have a favorite job you have done?
My favorite job was my first job on “This Is Us”. Everyone was so nice, and it was my first time, but the director was really nice and made me feel good.
