2012 – Bianca and Chiara D’Ambrosio

Bianca and Chiara D’Ambrosio played the role of Summer Newman on The Young and the Restless. The girls have recently worked on several projects including Criminal Minds, Feeding Mr. Baldwin and the new FX show Legit. They are also junior ambassadors for BOO2Bullying and released their first single Let Your Light Shine which you can purchase on iTunes! 1. What was it like filming Criminal Minds?

Bianca: It was a lot of fun even though it was a really hot day. The cast and crew were really nice. Shemar Moore- who is also an alumni of Young and Restless – came over and hung out with me between our scenes. Not only did i get a chance to act but also got to learn sign language with Co-Star, Troy Kotsur.

2. What was your favorite character you played?

Chiara:I liked all the roles I have done but my favorite role was Co star on “Legit” a nex FX show . It will air in January 2013. i had a chance to use improv..i love comedy !!

Bianca: My favorite was our role in the upcoming feature film ” Feeding Mr Baldwin” . I had a chance to play a different role than usual, playing scary twins.

3. How was it working with Samantha Bailey and all your friends on your music video?

It was so awesome to work with Samantha, Chloe, Layla to just name a few of our close friends that helped us with the music video. Anytime you get to interact with great actors who are also friends is FANTASTIC

4. How cool is it to have a song on iTunes and know young people are hearing a message on an issue very important to you?

Couldnt be cooler !!!

5. Do you have a favorite part of filming your Kinectimals commercial?

Chiara: I LOVED being a lion !!!

Bianca- its always fun to do a commercial for a product you love

6. What was it like shooting the Guys with Kids pilot?

It was an amazing experience. jimmy Fallon and Amy Ozols were awesome. Charlie Grandy and Scott Ellis were great to work with. All the cast, Jesse, Zach, Tempestt, Jamie & Anthony are such great role models for young actors

7. What was your favorite part of filming ” Legit” ?

Chiara: My favorite part..2 words.. Jim Jefferies..unbelievably funny !!!

Bianca; my favorite part was working with amazing Director Peter O’Fallon. He let us say “action” several times !!! Everyone was amazing.

8. Do you have a favorite scene you did for YR?

Our favorite scene from Young & Restless was the Halloween episode. We love Halloween and had a chance to dress up on TV is double the fun. Plus we ate a lot of chocolate on set.

9. What has been your favorite project to work on this year?

Our favorite project was VooDoo The Right Thing because it was part of the 48 hour Producer Guild New Filmmakers festival. Over 300 submissions and ours came in 2nd place !!

10. What inspired you to get involved in the anti-bullying movement?

We were bullied when we were younger and it hurt our feelings. We do not want other kids to have to go thru the same thing.
