2021 – Isabella Cuda

Isabella Cuda has appeared in numerous films and television shows since her episode of Days of Our Lives in 2012. Most recently she has worked on the film Deadly Obvious, did an episode of Bunk’d and catch her in a guest starring role on primetime to kick off 2022!

1. How has acting changed/evolved for you as you have gotten older?
I’ve been taking method acting classes for the last couple of years, I feel now that I’m older I can relate better to characters as I have more life experience.

2. What do you like the most about doing voice over work?
I like to experiment with different voices to see how it changes the character.

3. When working on a project and developing your characters what do you do to make each one unique and different?
I like to play real characters who I can relate to. I always try to imagine how the character would feel like in any given situation.

4. What is the best part of filming projects on location, such as in Hawaii?
I mean it’s Hawaii, everything about Hawaii is wonderful. I’ve been there several times but actually working in Hawaii was an amazing, unforgettable experience.

5. How did filming Deadly Obvious differ from previous 48 Hour Film Projects you have worked on?
All our team members were from my high school or recent graduates from my school. Our film class teacher let us borrow all equipment needed for the weekend. It was so much fun filming this short film.

6. What was your experience like working on your episode of Bunk’d?
Oh it was such an amazing experience. Everyone on set was so nice and included me like a family member, it was really, really special and I’m so grateful.

7. Were you familiar with the show prior to booking it? If so, what were you most excited about for being on their set?
I’ve been watching Bunk’d for years and have always loved the show. To be able to work with such a talented cast and a super professional crew was a dream come true.

8. What were your first thoughts reading the script for the episode and learning about your character Kit?
I could really relate to Kit as she was wheelchair bound after a surgery. I’ve had my share of spinal cord surgeries and had to relearn how to walk, using wheelchairs, walkers , crutches.

9. What was it like working with Israel Johnson?
He is sooo funny, he made me laugh all day long. We are still in touch, he is super nice and extremely talented.

10. Is there anything you can share about your role in your upcoming television episode?
Well, the show takes place in Hawaii and the episode airs on January 14th. That’s all I can say at this point. Stay tuned…
