Star-Kidz

Mia and Alanna Amoscato played Maggie Gaffigan on The Jim Gaffigan Show as infants. Recently they have worked for BTween, Melissa, and theatrical projects including the film Letters!

1. What do you like the most about working separately on projects?
Together on projects? Getting to spend the day with just my mom. Working together we always have someone to keep us busy and play with while we wait to film or shoot. I like to color (Alanna) and my sister colors with me and we write notes and draw pictures for people we like on set.

2. Alanna, what was your shoot for BTween like?
It was awesome. I got to meet a lot of new friends and got to take home a bunch of new outfits. I also got to take pictures with my friend Adrianna and got to model Halloween clothing.

3. Do you have a favorite outfit you modeled for their collection?
The pumpkin Halloween outfit.

4. Mia, what was the best part of your shoot for Melissa?
Getting to work with the adult models. Getting to dance and have fun and take pictures and spending the day with my mom.

5. How did you like working with all of the adult models on set?
I like working with the adults because they taught me how to pose.

6. What was your time on set like filming your Slice commercial?
It was fun! But we didn’t get to eat the pizza. Every time we cut, we had to wash our hands because we got pizza sauce, grease, and cheese on our hands.

7. How did you react to seeing it airing on television?
It was the first commercial we were in on TV so it was cool. I have seen myself on TV before (Mia) but I never saw myself on a commercial before. I got to work with my sister too.

8. How did you enjoy working on the film Letters?
I loved working with Lala. She was so much fun and we got to cook together, and ride the subway trains together and pick flowers and walk around the cemetery for a scene which was sort of spooky but not really scary.

9. What do you love the most about being on set?
Meeting Lala who was my set sister.

10. What else have you been up to recently?
Mia: I just worked on a film and got to shoot at the beach and play with a dog named Luna. I also got to eat whatever I wanted.
