2021 – Bryson Robinson

Bryson Robinson is a Los Angeles based actor who has been seen on Fresh Off the Boat, Class Dismissed and more. He is best known for his role of Chris in the Brat series Mani which recently aired its sixth season.

1. How did you get started in the industry?
I started in NYC at 4 years old in commercials.

2. What do you love the most about acting?
Creating new characters, traveling and meeting new people on different sets.

3. What was your experience like working on Fresh Off the Boat?
It was fun to be a part of a large long running production. Everyone was so kind on set.

4. Do you have a favorite memory from filming for Class Dismissed?
Yes! Working with Nakia Burisse, Catherine Sutherland, and Sonya Leslie was a dream. Power Rangers and Broadway professionals! One of my favorite scenes was when I was covered in wet paint and ran through the halls. I loved being a trouble maker on the show.

5. How did you prepare for playing Danny in Danny’s Plan?
I shot Danny’s Plan awhile ago. I remember just being myself and drawing from my own experiences at the time to play the role.

6. What was your first day on set for Mani like?
It was so cool meeting everyone for the first time. We all had instant chemistry since day one!

7. What is the best part about working for several years on the same series?
Being able to evolve and grow with the character has been the best part. Working with my Brat family is amazing.

8. Which episode has been the most challenging to film?
Most challenging to film would probably have to be the episodes shot in the Bat Cave. It was hot outside and I prefer it cool.

9. What do you like the most about playing Chris?
Chris is a part of me now. Growing with the character has been so cool. I love telling his story.

10. Do you have a favorite episode you have shot for the show?
Yes! The final episode of season 6. Actually all of season 6 as I was able to use my improv skills and physical comedy in the role.
