Stephanie Schmahl played the role of Bree on One Life to Live. This year she appeared in a web video for Planet Earth and enjoys attending OLTL fan events in the NYC area with her co-stars. To keep up to date make sure to like CP Talent on Facebook!
1. How did you get started in the industry?
My neighbor used to own a children talent agency and she really liked me and kept telling my parents to get me into commercials. She called some of her friends and I got an audition with their company.
2. What was it like working with Bob Woods?
I liked working with Bob. The first time I met him he was dressed in Santa’s pants and drinking milk in the dressing room. At first I thought he was Santa. He was funny to work with and let me call him Uncle Bob.
3. Do you have a favorite part of working with Hillary B. Smith?
Hillary Smith was so fun to work with. My favorite scene working with Hillary was in the plane ride home from the ranch and when I was mad because I wanted to see my mother and she took me to the hospital to see her.
4. Is there a favorite holiday you filmed scenes for?
My favorite holiday scene I filmed was the Christmas scene with Jessica and Brody. That scene Brody gave me The Night Before Christmas book and a Barbie doll.
5. How did you like working with Terri Conn?
Terri was great to work with. She had a daughter my age so she was always talking to me in the dressing room and on set.
6. How did you enjoy the Mingle for a Cause event?
I had a great time. I love to do karaoke. The fans were terrific and we had so much fun singing together.
7. What was it like filming Planet Earth?
Filming Planet Earth was so much fun. I got to wear the earphones and sit in a booth like I was a DJ. My lines were funny too.
8. Do you have a favorite part of attending the Stars and Strikes events?
I liked signing autographs. Also, this year I got to see so many people I haven’t seen in almost a year.
9. Do you keep in touch with any of your OLTL co-stars?
No. I wish I had. I miss Bree Williamson and would love to talk to her again.
10. What is your favorite OLTL memory?
The whole experience was so much funny. I loved everything about it. I liked playing with Tess, Madeline and Molly (Hope) in the dressing room waiting to go on set and getting to try on pretty clothes, and playing with Dominick and Junior (Ryder). There were so many wonderful memories.
We’d like to thank Stephanie and her family for participating in this year’s Holiday Q&A event!
