Star-Kidz

Aiden and Brody appeared on Days of Our Lives earlier this year as Nicole’s dream baby. They currently have a recurring role on Suburgatory, have been on How I Met Your Mother and just filmed an episode of The New Normal! To keep up to date make sure to visit their Official Website!

1. How did the boys get started in the industry?

When I was 7 months pregnant with the boys, I bumped into a friend who referred me to Zuri Model and Talent since I was having identical twins. She said they really like using twins in TV and films. Since I no longer worked, I figured it was a great opportunity. When the boys were born, we started communicating with Kathy from Zuri.

2. What was the process like filming for Days of Our Lives?

Filming was great at DOOL. Most of the cast would come to the dressing room and play with the babies. Everyone was so nice. Though it was an extremely short scene, the experience was amazing and fun.

3. How did Aiden and Brody enjoy working with Arianne Zucker and James Scott?

Arianne was extremely nice. We had very limited interactions with James since he was already rehearsing the scene.

4. How did you feel when you found out the boys would be on How I Met Your Mother?

HIMYM was the first job we had done with the boys. When Kathy called me about HIMYM, i jumped on the experience because I am a huge fan of the show. We filmed for two days when the boys were 6 weeks. Around 8 weeks, they had asked us to come back to finish the second episode of the finale. We felt honored. The cast signed the final script for my boys – it was such a great experience!

5. What was it like filming with Alyson Hannigan?

She was extremely great! She was actually pregnant at the time so we had a lot to talk about. I also had a lot in common with Neil Patrick Harris since he is a father of b/g twins. The director, Pam Fryman, has twins too! So she was incredibly understanding and informative with advice since I was so new to the “twin parenting” thing. I loved the whole cast and crew and feel so lucky I had a chance to be part of the finale that season.

6. What is the best part of working on Suburgatory?

The cast and crew are so nice. Since the first day, we felt like we were already part of the family.

7. How do Aiden and Brody like working with Alan Tudyk?

He is the best! My kids really respond well to him. Whenever we are on set, he’ll come to the trailer and play with the boys. I think that’s why they always smile when they are filming together.

8. What was it like shooting the babysitting scenes?

The babysitting scenes were great. We were thrilled when we found out Tessa was gonna watch Opus. We filmed some scenes on the Warner Brothers set and a bunch of the scenes at the Werner home (off site). Everything is so new to me. I feel blessed!

9. Who have been some of your favorite people Aiden and Brody have worked with so far in the industry?

Alan is definitely the best with my boys. I also think they loved working on Sam & Cat because of all the other children around them. They really respond well to other kids.

10. What has been your favorite industry memory with the boys so far?

All of my experiences have been unreal and memorable. If i was to pick one, I think it would be meeting the cast of HIMYM because that was my introduction to the Hollywood scene. But being a part of a television show like Suburgatory has been incredible. It’s so great actually being part of the family and being regulars on the set.

We’d like to thank Aiden, Brody, and their family for participating in this year’s Holiday Q&A event!
