Hudson West

Hudson West took over the role of Jake Webber on General Hospital in 2016 when the role was recast. It seemed the writers wanted to take a new direction with Jake and Hudson soon found himself getting more airtime. In 2017 Hudson was featured in his own storyline for Jake, as well as involved in other surrounding stories on the soap, and his hard work led to a nomination for a Daytime Emmy in 2018. After a dry spell with the odd Jake appearance, the second half of 2023 brought more airtime for Hudson as Jake entered the teen scene. However Jake was written off to Europe for art school in 2024.

Career Highlights
Hudson got his start doing commercial work and short films, along with early television appearances on Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, & Dawn, and The Eric Andre Show. He has been seen in the films Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 and 3 Days with Dad, as well as done voice over work for a variety of film and television projects. Hudson has had guest starring roles on 9-1-1, Grey’s Anatomy and NCIS: Los Angeles and in 2018 was a competitor in the first and only season of Dancing with the Stars: Juniors, coming in tenth place alongside partner Kameron Couch. Hudson has also held recurring roles on multiple series including Netflix’s Grace & Frankie and Showtime’s Penny Dreadful: City of Angels.

Current Updates
Hudson has continued to act outside of the soap, however his last projects appear to be around the same time his run on General Hospital came to an end. He has last been seen on screen in the 2025 film The Arborist, and his social media has been reduced to select highlights of his career growing up.
