Lauren Boles began playing the role of Ciara Brady on Days of Our Lives in 2008 when the character was aged. She had already appeared in a Disney Channel promo and worked on TV Funhouse before joining the cast, and it wasn’t long before the soap started writing for her. In 2009 she saw a storyline come her way where Ciara was kidnapped, giving her significant airtime, and that same year she began going out to various events to meet the fans of the show. After that storyline ended she continued to appear in various episodes and be involved in various storylines happening on the canvas. The writers loved to give her witty lines as Ciara in different episodes, even giving her some ground to stand on against Sami Brady! In the last months of her time on the show Lauren saw a storyline with Ciara’s mom falling in love with a man named Aiden who had a son her age, and they were all becoming a happy blended family….which of course doesn’t last long on soaps. Unfortunately before that storyline ended the show decided to age the characters to teenagers and Lauren ended her run on Days of Our Lives after seven years.

Career Highlights

Outside of the soap Lauren did episodes of Conan, Austin & Ally as well as Glee where she played a younger version of Lea Michele’s character Rachel. Since leaving Days, Lauren has continued to work in the industry with roles on Grey’s Anatomy, NCIS: LA, and voice over work.
