Nathaniel Taylor appeared on The Young and the Restless this past summer during the carnival scenes. He has been seen on People Magazine Investigates, filmed music videos for popular artists and more!
1. What was the experience like working on a trailer for Kesha’s new album?
It was really cool because I got to work directly with Kesha. On some other music videos I’ve done, I never even got to see the artist. But Kesha was right there in front of me for the “Raising Hell” video!
2.What was your time on set like working on Babysplitters?
I liked that there were a lot of other kids on set for Babysplitters and we got to play around a lot.
3. How did you enjoy working with your siblings?
Working with my siblings was pretty neat because it doesn’t happen very often.
4. What is the best part of working on People Magazine Investigates?
For the most recent episode I did, I played the role of Brian Collins who was one of eight siblings. I fit right in because in real life, I’m one of seven siblings! We got to have a pillow fight in one of the scenes and that was so fun!
5. How have you enjoyed getting to play multiple characters on different episodes of the series?
It was really exciting to book a second role for the series playing a different character.
6. What was it like to film the carnival scenes for The Young and the Restless?
That was one of the best days on set ever because I got to play carnival games and eat popcorn and cotton candy… a lot of cotton candy! I made some great friends on set that day, too. The main cast were all super friendly and I hope I can go back some day.
7. How did you enjoy filming for CollegeHumor?
That was a really hot day and we were filming outside, so that was a challenge. But we pretty much just had to dance around and play duck-duck-goose, so that was fun!
8. What do you like most about doing comedy projects?
I book a lot of serious roles, so it’s a nice break to get to act silly once in a while.
9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?
My brother, Harrison, on Babysplitters and the Weezer music video “High as a Kite”. Also, Kesha, she was so excited and seemed like she was really happy to be there making the video.
10. What has been your favorite project to work on this year?
My favorite project that I worked on this year was with Logan Paul, even though I got cut from the final edit of his Flat Earth documentary. He was really funny and I was excited to meet him because I had seen his videos on YouTube before. I was really upset that I didn’t make the final cut, but meeting him and working with him was pretty great.
