2018 – Scarlett Fernandez

Scarlett Fernandez plays the role of Charlotte Cassadine on General Hospital. This year she has also been seen on Lethal Weapon, Shameless and more!

1. What was your experience like working on American Horror Story?
It was so fun working on AHS. I LOVED the process of the prosthetics. First they put a bald cap on, then they used a lot of make up to make me look burned.

2. How did you enjoy filming your episode of Shameless?
Shameless was one of my favorite things to work on. I got to do my own stunts, work with a well known actor and my character had a horse.

3. What was your experience working with William Macy?
He’s a really good actor, very friendly, a great ukulele player.

4. How much fun was it doing stunt work pretending to get punched?
It was really fun, because I’m active, and I like when I’m not just standing around. And…it was funny to watch!!

5. What was your time on set like filming Lethal Weapon?
I liked working on LW. My character reminded me of Charlotte on GH.

6. What is a typical day at the GH studio like for you?
Usually, I get to GH really early. I block with the other actors and director and then change into my wardrobe and get my hair done . I do schoolwork with the set teacher,and then rehearse and do my scenes!

7. How do you enjoy working with Genie Francis?
Genie is a great actor and inspires me to my best. She’s a good role model!!

8. What is it like working with Nicolas Bechtel?
Nicolas is very funny!! I like when Charlotte and Spencer have scenes together. She’s starting to stick up for herself.

9. Is there anyone new in the cast you would like to work with soon?
I’d like to work with William Lipton. He is such a cool, nice, guy!

10. What was your favorite scene/episode to work on this year?
I liked working on the bullying scenes. Not because I’m a bully, but because it was something different and because I want people to know it’s not okay to make fun of other kids!
