2018 – Christian Ganiere

Christian Ganiere plays the role of Parker Jonas on Days of Our Lives. This year he has also been seen on Criminal Minds, in the film The Nanny and more!

1. What was the experience like attending the Daytime Emmy Awards?
It’s a lot of fun. I love seeing all the people I know and have worked with and getting to spend time with them.

2. Will we be seeing Parker back in Salem any time soon?
I’m not sure. Stay tuned and find out 🙂

3. How did you like filming Criminal Minds?
I loved it. Matthew Gubler was the director so we had tons of fun goofing around. I learned a lot from him. And they have amazing craft services. Everyone was super nice.

4. What do you like best about filming projects on location?
Getting to sleep in a hotel and spending time with my mom. We went to Minnesota and spent almost a month together. We went to Mall of America a bunch of times. It was great just being her and me.

5. What was your experience like filming your film The Nanny?
It’s was fun. Cold. Lots of time with my mom watching movies and running around the hotel. We went swimming in the pool.

6. How did you enjoy working with Jadin Harris?
I miss her. Jadin was so fun. It was like having another sister.

7. What was it like filming with Jaime Murray?
Jaime is super nice. She was lots of fun. She laughs a lot. She bought me matching jammies with her and Jadin and Schyler.

8. Were you able to do your own stunts in the film?
I was. I worked with an amazing stunt coordinator named Peter Park. We are still friends. He took me to the Stunt Man Awards and we had a blast. I see him every time he’s in town.

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with this year?
The people from Criminal Minds were great. And I loved working on the movie Driven with Tosca Musk. She was really nice. All the actors from Driven were great. I loved working with Casey. He used to be on Days of Ours Lives too.

10. What else have you been up to this year?
I started playing ice hockey and I love it. I split my chin open and had to get stitches the third time on the ice. I’m much better now though and haven’t had a fall like that since then.
